Dr. Keener saved my client's life after a life threatening motorcycle accident. My client appeared in the trauma center broken from head to toe - numerous comminuted orthopedic fractures that lacerated organs and vessels. Dr. Keener put my client back together, and has helped her along the way. Excellent surgeon, and an equally caring person.

She gave me the best experience I could have being my 1st time having serious surgery. I will be returning for my 2nd and final surgery.

Dr Keener gave me the best advice while healing and when I have the chance to have my next surgery, she will be the Dr to do it!

I was in a bad accident in June and I had my surgery at Broward General and she put my right arm back in place. It’s like I never even felt any pain. She had to put a platelet and seres in my arm to repair it. It was in so much pain after. But was able to go home the next day. I am so relieved my arm is finally healed up!! Thanks for all your help!!

Was in a motorcycle accident and had numerous fractures in my pelvis. My guardian Angel was watching and I was sent to Broward General. It was determined that I would need a fairly specialized surgery. I was very scared as I just ended up at this hospital without choice. Little did I know that my best friend knew a doctor at this hospital that specializes in the type of surgery I needed. It was not he that led the team in the operating room but it was Dr. Keener. My best friend did a little research and said that she was more than qualified to perform my surgery. His quote was “you either specialize in this type of surgery or you don’t”. He knew immediately that Dr. Keener specializes in this surgery. Dr. Keener performed surgery and it is a work of art. She is amazing and has a wonderful “bed side manner”. On my birthday I was involved in a MVA which resulted in a trauma alert to Broward General Hospital. I had two rib fractures, a patella fracture, my knee was busted open, and a fracture of my posterior wall of my right acetabulum. Dr. Keener performed my surgery and cared for me over the next 10 weeks until my pelvic fracture healed. She was very open, honest, and professional. I am a nurse and the care I received from Dr. Keener and her staff was excellent. I am very thankful for the progress she has helped me make on my road to recovery

I was involved in a motorcycle accident and Dr. Keener was one of the surgeons who saw me in the hospital and repaired my broken clavicle. The surgery went well and I am healing nicely. I have had two follow up visits with Dr. Keener and she has been very friendly and professional.

Dr. Keener is a highly skilled surgeon. Me and my 12 year old daughter were badly injured in a car accident and both of us had broken pelvis. She made all the right calls and waited till all the conditions where right to do the surgeries. She explained the process and answered any questions we had. She also has gone above and beyond to make sure both me and my daughter are taken care off. Her office staff is also very responsive and on top of things. I would highly recommend her!

The way I was handled by everyone who attended to me it was outstanding and I felt I was in the good hand and much welcomed there.it's unexplainable to me.

i had fractured my humerus and a previous doctor told me i had to have surgery with Rods and pins. i came to Emily for a 2nd opinion and she let me know we could possibly avoid surgery if i wanted to give it a try. 2 months later my arm is 90% healed and there are no plates nor screws in my arm! Highly recommend!

My and My fiancé were in a bad head on collision and was life flighted to OPMC. my left shoulder was dislocated, skull fracture, hip fractured, broken ribs and right wrist was disfigured and broken. Dr. Keener did emergency surgery on my hip and I would like to applaud her on how she came in and comfort me by coming to check on me and letting me know how my hip was and if i needed anything at all. thank you so much for everything you did for me. I am so blessed to be alive and walking again!

My 92 year old mother saw Dr. Keener & her PA Lindsay for a broken wrist. They were both so kind & caring. They answered all her questions & were sure to speak right to her so she could hear them. Everyone in the office was very pleasant. They had quite a few patients there, but didn’t make us feel rushed.
