Dr. Emily Lampe, MD

Our experience with Dr. Lampe was awful. Her bedside demeanor was very dismissive, condescending and lacked compassion. She provided essentially no answers or direction for me and the information she did provide was vague and we felt like she talked in circles. At one point she implied that past treatments that had helped me before were just a placebo effect. We felt like she just washed her hands of my case. When she left the room we felt we were left with absolutely no hope and a future with very poor quality of life.

Our experience with Dr. Lampe was poor at best. She was very dismissive and appeared to get defensive when we asked probing questions. She offered my husband no hope for recovery, no direction going forward, and no way to relieve his extreme pain. We were left totally discouraged after our interactions with Dr. Lampe. She was not willing to do any more tests or investigation to find out why my husband lost his ability to use his lower extremities or why his bladder suddenly stopped functioning properly or why his pain levels were suddenly so severe. He was left with total extremity weakness and Dr. Lampe’s explanation made no sense and seemed vague. She essentially washed her hands of his case. We were forced to contact the Chief Medical Officer to investigate her work (or lack thereof). She was dismissive, condescending, and lacked compassion.

I did not receive any useful information or direction to take. 8 months after the visit I was contacted by the office about a coding issue with my insurance and was being billed for the complete amount.

Dr lampe saw me inpatient so some of the questions are NA. Provided excellent scores.
