Dr. Emily McCarty, MD

After waiting a long time I forgot something I wanted to bring up and needed to request a script for an infected hangnail. Was asked if script needed to be called in where I would like it to be called in by Valerie. When I remembered the next morning I called and left a message. Hours later when the nurse on call for 7/15/20 returned my call I explained the situation. She told me she would have to talk to McCarty and call me back. She then called me and told me to use a topical. At my age over 50 and a lifetime of these infections I am well aware of what I need. Last time I called Teledoc in this age of Covid didn't even have to face time, problem resolved. Just paid a co-pay day before for a procedure that shouldn't require one and now you want to try and squeeze another $ 50.00 out of me and get $ 100 instead of $ 50. Explained to nurse that I had Teledoc and didn't need to see a Doc to get the script last time and could do it again was hung up on. Remember why I quit them 10 yrs ago

I love Dr. McCarty! She is smart and extremely personable and very approachable. I would definitely recommend her.
