I Have been positive the entire time with my cancer treatment with Dr. Tanzler. She is very knowledgeable and her confidence is reassuring! Her confidence in Dr. Vankayala has put me at ease with the new attack on my cancer!!!

Dr. Tanzler has the wonderful ability to put patients, who are about to receive radiation, at great ease. She explains what one shall expect to feel & hear, the length of time the patient shall receive their treatment, etc., etc. Dr. Tanzler is extremely pleasant, totally listens to the patient's questions, and takes the time to thoroughly answer each question. My wife and I feel so blessed that our local hospital opened the radiation oncology center and made Dr. Tanzler the director.

Dr Tanzler has a Sense of Urgency about getting prompt and efficient treatment for cancer patients, such as myself. Extremely knowledge and easy to talk to. I like her! She spent almost 3 hours with me discussing my cancer and the treatment I was to be part of in my first visit. She listened to everything I had to say and allowed me to ask in depth questions about the type of cancer therapy I would be receiving. But most important, we were able to develop a bond of trust, which I highly value.

care philosophy

A diagnosis of cancer can be a devastating moment in a patient's or family member's lives. I became a radiation oncologist because I recognize the struggle and anxieties that come from this diagnosis and wish to provide not only a cure but a quality of life for my patients and their family during treatment.
