Absolutely horrible bedside manner. she doesn't care about patients at all. Why would you be a physician if you don't plan on helping people?

Very impersonal and lacks bedside manner. I felt unseen as she ignored the intent of my visit and tried to force contraceptives on me although I clearly expressed I was only there for an annual routine appointment. This was my first ever GYN visit and needless to say it made me hesitant to ever visit another. That was my first and last visit with her

She is one of the doctors at women’s first obgyn. Terrible bedside manners- always in a rush , does not do a thorough job nor does she take the time to answer any questions. Was very rough during a check up. Needless to say, will be switching clinics.

I have seen another person in this practice for my annuals for over 15 years with no issues at all. Then I was referred to this doctor for PCOS/Infertility. She made my husband and I feel small and stupid. She acted as though pregnancy was the only desired outcome or the sole reason for my visit, when it was truly because I was dealing with a lot of pain and a lot of bleeding and I wanted answers. She didn’t listen at either “office appointment” and she didn’t listen during my procedure, leading to more pain. She was cold and uncaring. My chart was also never completed and my husband’s sample was never even tested (after she berated us for not treating this as an emergency, when it wasn’t even the main reason we were there). There have to be others out there who will treat you with compassion and listen to what you’re saying.

Dr Emma Cargado-Leynes, was unfortunately the on call doctor when my wife and I arrived at the hospital to deliver our first child, she literally treated my wife like cattle, zero bedside manor, my wife has front and center on her chart that she has high anxiety. She checked her not even a moment after a contraction, was disrespectful of her body and her as a person in general. It’s a shame that this woman is allowed to care for women in childbirth. I recommend refusing her services.
