She's my gal!
I've been going to Emma McCarty for the past 8 years. She's smart, direct and points me to my better habits. She's empathetic and kind but not at all coddling...which I appreciated. After all I'm a 70+ woman and do take responsibility for my well being. I feel like we are on the same team...ME!!

I’m without words. If you need to find a primary care physician in boulder or near by......find someone else. Please don’t tell a 50 year old woman, you can’t have your medications any longer. The anxiety itself, put me into overload. Now I’m faced with reality which might be death. Thank you.

Listens to what you have to say, talks about issues impacting you as a person and I never feel rushed even though her calendar is packed. Spent a lot of time on my labs and scheduled follow ups to check in on my progress. Gave detailed instructions on new meds and what I should look out for. And on a couple of occasions where I had to get in immediately they were able to do that as well Best doctor I can remember ever having.

Dr. McCarty is one of the best doctors that I have seen. She is not quick to prescribe medication unless needed. Always listens and wants to know what I have tried before coming to her. She takes her time and listens. After she listens she then develops a treatment plan with several steps in case the first stage does not work. Excellent!

Dr. McCarty is the one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She has accurately and successfully treated several very severe and complicated issues with ease, prescribing accurate medications and recommending timely referrals to other departments as needed.
