Good Doctor - Bad Reviews
Dr. Jung is a fine doctor. In case you read no further, that is what you need to know. I find that your have to read negative reviews carefully. My experience was as good as it gets, attentive, on time, gave me all the time I needed as a new patient (30 minutes) recommended two specialists and set me up with follow up visits. Oh, and he has a sense of humor ... that is if you do as well.

Dismissive
Dr. Jung got assigned as my primary care physician. He was a terrible doctor that left me in tears after an appointment. He was incredibly rude and dismissive of all of my concerns and barely made any eye contact with me. He didn't listen to me or ask any follow-up questions. He ordered unhelpful labs and left me never wanting to go back.

Dr. Jung was PCP for both my partner and I at Kaiser Permanente for 1-2 years. I believe I saw him for 2 physical exams (annual checkups), prior to my health insurance changing to UCLA. I found his demeanor to be warm, and he seemed easy to communicate with. I did not have any pressing health issues, just check-ups and refills of long-term prescriptions. Found everything to be normal and healthy. I initially saw him in the Kaiser Sunset area, but he moved to a newer location of Kaiser that is very state-of-the-art (I have never seen any healthcare facility like it, it feels out of a futuristic project). I do not know where he is located now, as my last visit was over 1 year ago, but I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Jung as my PCP should my insurance switch back to Kaiser in the future.

My wife has been suffering from fibromalgya. On her first visit with this Dr. He tells her that he does not make miracles. He asks her why she changed Drs and that she should have stayed with her previous DR. Does he understand the blow he is giving her by telling her that there is no help? Maybe because he is innefective he thinks all DRs are the same way. We are looking at different DRs because why hope to find one that has new treatment ideas. Someone out here willing to use his mind.
