Dr. Emmeline Chan, MD

My mother is being diagnosed for something serious, I spoke to Dr. Chan briefly (5min) when my mom went in for her appointment. After speaking to her specialist and her case, I had some questions and wanted to speak to Dr. Chan, i did not ask to speak to her immediately. I asked extremely nicely to get a call from the Dr when she gets a chance and was immediately shut down saying the Dr. refuses to speak to me.Given the urgency of the matter I was able to get an earlier appointment with her specialist, no thanks to Dr. Chan's office who will just tell you no to everything and hope you handle it on your own.Front desk Claire super rude, interrupting patient as they are expressing their concern and refusing to help us contact the lab regarding results even tho the specialist who performed the biopsy said the dr office has to call to get them. I personally called the lab,

I was forced to see her because my PCP on my insurance doesn't actually serve as PCP in their office and they gave me to her. I had avoided her due to bad reviews online and they weren't wrong. She talked over me, mostly about her own similar health issues. She wrote the wrong thing down for my rib/chest pain and I struggled to get any treatment not focused on my shoulder for a year. She also said she did exams during that session that didn't happened, which is Lying. Then she wouldn't give me more than 1 referral that visit, telling me I didn't need several at once when I had clear issues that needed cancer screening. I do not trust her with my life and care.

She is genuinely concerned about your health.

Will interrupt you aggressively. I felt so rushed, stupid, and unheard. She lacked basic empathy. Very inquisitive for someone who disregarded your answer. Post-visit notes were wildly inaccurate filled with (A) mistakes, and (B) clear indication that she wasn't listening. Luckily Dr. Chen isn't my actual physician, and hopefully she isn't yours. Please avoid her. Please.

Very rude, unhelpful and shamed me for my medical history.

Gave an opinion about my family member that was complete rubbish that she had no business giving! Her opinion was completely wrong! She was not the assigned doctor!
