Very intelligent, but stick to research, no empath
Defensive when questioned about my treatment plan or when I attempt to share my thoughts. Minimizes my physical and emotional pain regarding my serious, fatal lung disease. I feel a total lack of "teamwork ", she simply cannot tolerate patient input and appears both astounded and annoyed by it. As a result, there are now difficulties scheduling appointments, appointments are rushed to get me out before I ask questions or request basic explanations. Dr. Neptune might best serve humanity using her abilities in the research lab, away from direct patient care.

This provider was dismissive and disinterested. She did not understand one of my other diagnoses and seemed to cast doubt on it. (The diagnosis is a non-controversial but perhaps niche to its sub-specialty.) I was able to have my concerns respectfully diagnosed and treated by another pulmonologist.

I had the misfortune of meeting this provider while a family member was hospitalized. Dr. Neptune was very dismissive of our concerns and lacked empathy. She replied that "this is a one-way street" to deflect questions about her medical decisions. Is that really the kind of doctor you want in a time of crisis?
