Condescending, potentially dangerous
Went for my annual exam today at Soni Family Practice My regular lady wasn't there and I had this guy. Whatever. I'm here to say 'yep, no changes.' and get refills. No. He gives me a 30-minute lecture on how fat I am and how I have to stop eating ALL potatoes, rice, bread, and pasta immediately and eat only proteins, salad with oil & vinegar, and veggies. I'd rather be fat, my dude. And he said I should cook breakfast everyday, and stop eating at 6pm. Like, what world do you live in? I heard it in the first 5 minutes. Can we move on? Ridiculous. He even said 'I don't know if I can palpate your abdomen because your belly is so big.' Just as rude as can be. I'm not THAT fat. Ruined my day. And he's pudgy. There's fairly thick line between offering solid medical advice and berating someone. And as someone with an eating disorder history, he could have set me back decades. This is the sort of behavior that makes people avoid care and distrust white coats.

Worst Dr's experience EVER
My wife had a recent car accident and was experiencing anxiety. We set an appointment at our PCP to ask for some help with her anxiety. Dr Martinez happened to be who we saw. He absolutely would not listen to her and at one point actually told her she was too fat ! We very nearly walked out - should have walked out as my wife left in a worse state than before we went in.

Horrible experience
Worst experience ever. This person who calls himself a doctor is very rude, insulting, condescending and unprofessional. He was He did not like the fact that he was being asked to repeat himself due to him wearing a mask that is difficult to hear or articulate what a person is saying if they are not speaking clear or loud enough. If you have this doctor run as fast as you can. Will not ever see him again. Disappointed and unprofessional service.
