Phenomenal OBGYN @ Chelsea Area, N.Y.C.
Dr. Ovitsh is simply the best, For over 30 years he has been a true gem of a Doctor…. So very helpful, carefully listens and hears you, and is very caring, gentle, and kind individual. His office is in Chelsea, blocks away from the train. Small office but awesome experience. the receptionist and nurse and all the staff are so nice and sweet . Highly recommend if you live in the area, cause I would travel far for this Doctor, hes one of the best I’ve come across ,in my lifetime. Try him out, if needed , and then you’ll see how he’s so kind and how he makes the whole experience ,very simple and easy . Doctor Ovitsh, Thank you from the bottom of my heart! All the stars in the world! Thank you for each and every single thing ! J.A.

Despite my repeated questions about the status of my fibroids over many years, he failed to notice I not only had endometriosis, but in fact had endometrial cancerous tumor. Had to ask for a referral to a surgeon, as he finally told me he is not a surgeon (so could not do a uterine biopsy or hysteroscopy, the only ways to find uterine cancer.) This does not show up in blood tests or ultrasounds. He insists on doing his own ultrasounds, so there is no independent review.

Unable to reach office for more than two weeks. Left voicemails and my calls were never returned. Voicemail stopped accepting messages. Went to office in person during business hours and nobody answered the door. Switched doctors though I found him to be lovely and kind.
