Dr. Erena Treskova, MD

Dr Treskova is my former GI. Former because I’m now an adult, but I’ll always be grateful for her care. She diagnosed my celiac disease and gave me a new chance at life. She was always so thorough, ordering tests I had never even heard of. Through doing that, she diagnosed my ovarian cyst. Her bedside manner is lackluster, but she makes up for it in genuine results. When I had my final appointment with her before leaving for college, she seemed so proud of how far I had come. If you can get past the bluntness and bad bedside manner, I think she’s genuinely a great doctor

There’s no way to reach anyone at this practice by phone. I booked an appointment through their website, completed the initial questionnaire, and then received an email the next day asking for more sensitive information because 'the registration was incomplete.' I explained that I wasn’t comfortable sharing that information via email and offered to provide it over the phone or at the appointment. They responded by canceling my appointment since I didn’t want to send the details in advance. It’s frustrating enough that you can’t contact anyone by phone, but they also make it difficult to book an appointment and assume everyone has constant access to a computer. I have the right to refuse sharing sensitive information through email, this is definitely a form of digital or accessibility discrimination. I would avoid this practice.

Ordered invasive tests when child had zero symptoms. Never even consulted with primary pediatrician or having an in office examination. Child abuse in my opinion!

I made an appointment with my Grandson. Who was 8 at the time. She ordered all these tests. The follow-ups, it was all done via Zoom. I was the one to do the examination. With phone in one hand. The other hand pressing down on his stomach. I AM NOT A DOCTOR. She got paid for this. To this date, he still is having problems. I am very disappointed with her practice. What about your oath? Isn't it to help all your patients? I would have worn a mask and my Grandson too. I am so tired of excuses with covid. This has been going on for over a year now. Covid was not bad in the summer.

Dr Treskova does not listen to the parent or do individualized care. She orders the same tests for every patient. She speaks down to the parents and is not professional.

Good doctor.

I went to this office because of the limited pediatric gastroenterologist in the area. I was referred by the local hospital. Her bedside manner is dry and unwelcoming as a pediatric physician. She barely looks at you, sits in front of the computer talking and typing. Has a monotone voice, speaks a bit fast, the whole experience was unwelcoming. However I needed to know about my Childs condition so I hung in there until I received all the results. She gives me the impression she is worn out and withdrawn probably said many of these diagnosis's and treatment plans a million times. However she needs to treat people like people, be friendly and inviting especially when you are dealing with children. I will never go back to her and the office. She could be as good as her credentials but bedside manner matters most. Typical rude doctor. I am a registered nurse and was displeased with her overall engagement but behaviors like this is beyond common with physicians and sad honestly.

She is the smartest doctor I know. She figures out medical issues that my childs other doctors don't know anything about. I have trusted her for many years.

Easy to make an appointment. Do not have to travel cross the river for anything. Very professional. She even helped us with chronic cough with I thought was not GI issue. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Quite negative experience. The doctor simply does not care. Will set you with least convenient and most expensive facility for lab work. Rude receptionists. Would not recommend to anyone.

Rude, incompetent and, careless. Could not be bothered examining my child for more than 20 seconds after she ran over an hour late. She than prescribed so much medication that the pharmacist refused to fill it. When we called Poison Control to verify what the pharmacist had alleged, they agreed and, said the amount was lethal. Please do not take you child to this provider.

Most knowledgeable doctor I encountered. She helped both of my kids.

Looks like very few patients provided their feedback here not counting the person who posted his frustration under the different name couple of times. Our experience with Dr. Treskova was simply wonderful. She was able to diagnose and treat my son when other two GI doctors offered nothing but antacid medication which did not work. Now my son is totally off all medications and does not skip school anymore. By the way I love how her office provides us with web access to all labs and results.

For a practice centered around children, it is not child friendly, nor adult friendly for that matter. Not at all helpful, friendly, attentive, sympathetic, caring, and the only time any interest is expressed is when it comes to insurance and copay. If there was any other choice close by, I would never go back.

Office staff uninterested in assisting and rude. Completely unsympathetic to the overly long wait times. Not at all helpful with paperwork, information, referrals to imaging centers, no helpful hints. Staff acts as if they are the only game in town, because there are so few pediatric gastro's. If there was any competition at all, this office would be out of business in under 6 months. Dr Treskova may be knowledgeable, but poor, fast, non-detailed explanations, this is a churn/burn office

Dr. Treskova was rude, gave short responses via email not answering our direct questions about our child's medical issues and care, She refused to speak to us on phone during care/after receiving test results, gave us incomplete care directions, and an incomplete diagnosis after receiving test results. Rude staff as well. Makes parents feel lost, confused and as if our questions are not important.
