The Most Amazing
Seriously, this is psychiatrist goes above and beyond when it comes to medication management, innerstanding and understanding the psychological impairments, learning how to cope with everything; he finds strengths in each one of us. He’s seriously the best doctor I’ve seen in the world and I’ve lived across three to four different continents in my life. He saved my life. He me found the medication regimen that allowed me to continue my studies and accept/work with my impairments. He doesn’t do private practice anymore he’s only available at the mental hospital Herrick Campus Alta Bates Summit now; just so you know. His attention to detail, attentive listening, and open minded approach is very welcoming and healing.

He Should be Cloned and Distributed Widely
If he were, there would be fewer people wandering about feeling misunderstood and alone. They would be in the hands of someone willing to invest time and effort in finding the right medication combo, even if it took several months. They would look forward to his humor, good heart, intelligence, and skill. And they would know with certainty that they were in the best possible hands - a realization that makes dark days much less dark. Dr. Arnold is one of those rare people who correctly identified the right profession for himself. Thankfully, many folks have and will continue to benefit. Now, again, if he could only be cloned...

Dr. Arnold was able to drastically improve my mental health by changing my meds in ways that other psychiatrists never to the time to consider. He is extremely knowledgeable and versed in the options available and really listens to me and respects that I am the expert on my body and what is working and what is not. I've made insurance decisions just to avoid losing him as a care provider.

Dr. Arnold is my current doctor. I had a situation that I needed his help with. I left a message on Labor Day Weekend. It is Thursday after Labor Day Weekend, and he has not responded. This is not the type of support that someone who cares for patients should be doling out.

Dr. Arnold has been a godsend for our son, who had bipolar. He has been very thoughtful in revising meds and doses, has worked closely with our therapist and pediatrician. He is super responsive. He does not overmedicate and is open to alternatives that make sense. He cares about his patients and keeps up on new developments, practices and meds that can help individuals dealing with mental illness.

Dr. Arnold is a kind, thoughtful doctor, and is a good listener. After four years, Dr. Arnold has stuck with me through some very difficult depressions. He is 100% for his patients, has coordinated my mental health care with other providers. He cares for your cares. I don't see Dr. Arnold in his office. He is at a mental health treatment in Alta Bates Herrick Campus at 2001 Dwight Way, Berkeley.
