Highly recommended
Dr. Barp was on time, listened intently, communicated respectfully, gave thorough explanations of diagnosis, validated concerns I had regarding advice received on the issue from family physician, described my issue and treatment as a partnership, assured me he was available to support me with future needs or concerns, didn't drag out number of follow up visits or treatment plan beyond what was medically necessary for successful conclusion to issue. Nothing to call out as an opportunity for improvement. An excellent, top notch experience from start to finish.

Big toe fusion went great.
I delt with arthritis of the big toe joint for years before seeing Dr. Barp. He preformed the fusion surgery and it has went great. I can walk fine with no pain. The main thing is to follow his directions on recovery.

Fractured ankle torn ligaments
Very nice and very informative he gets right to the point which is what you want from a good doctor considering how many I had to go through before I got the chance to be treated by Dr. Barp. Surgery went very well and so did recovery. He really makes sure not to send you back into the world to fast and ensures recovery is going well.

I have seen Dr. Barp for 4-5 years now. I had consistent foot problems - toenails ingrowing and a hammertoe. Dr. Barp removed (after trying simpler solutions) a large toenail and one next to the large toenail finally, so I would not have to keep worrying about them. It was very fast. He drizzled a cold liquid on my toe, gave me three injections to numb it well, and waited 5 minutes. NO PAIN. I think he was done with the big toe and had it bandaged (we also killed the nail with phenol to prevent it from growing back) in about 10 minutes! He talked to me the entire time and asked me questions. He has one of the best, most polite and friendly personalities of any doctor I have seen and I am over 65 and have seen many doctors! I healed well and later he took care of the hammertoe in the office in the same fast, painless way. I would highly recommend him to anyone. One drawback is that he is so busy and popular he is hard to see and might not be taking new patients now.

The best surgeon for ankle reconstruction. Has an amazing team. Love his bed side manner, and can explain what is going on in layman’s terms. My Podiatrist who is awesome sent me to him. He did a Bunionectomy and left ankle reconstruction on December 20th for me. I can’t tell you how relieved I am to be in such gifted hands!

I saw Dr Barp for plantar fasciitis. He spent time listening to me and answering my questions. After conservative measures failed he treated me with one injection. Although this condition often requires multiple injections, I am currently pain free!

He is easy to talk to, genuinely cares bout his patients. Does not recommend surgery as his first option even though he is a surgeon.

I have had two appoints with Dr. Barp. Both were great experiences. Dr. Barp takes the time to listen, answer questions and give thorough explanations of options and procedures. He is friendly, patient and knowledgable. I felt confident in his abilities, as well as his support staff. I will highly recommend him and his expertise. He personally contacted me by phone the night of my surgery to answer questions and check progress...never had that with any doctor. He cares about each patient.
