We had a time-sensitive referral after a hospitalization from a TIA for a 6-week window. The earliest appointment we could get was 16 weeks out. 1 day before the appointment, the office called & said they had cancelled the appt bc they hadn't received the medical records from the PCP. This was false. We had a date and time the PCP sent the records. Yet, they cancelled without communication, then gave the appt slot away and rescheduled for another 2 months away. THEN again, right before the appt they called and said they had cancelled the appt bc the primary doctor no longer matched the insurance card (the primary moved 3 weeks earlier & we had not received the new card yet). This is all bureaucratic nonsense with no regard for the well-being of the patient and amounts to patient abandonment and endangerment in my book. We will not be rescheduling and will be filing a complaint with the state for patient abandonment. AVOID.

My initial contact illicted a same day appointment after referral was received. Office personal were pleasant and helpful. New patient paperwork was done and in no time I went in to see Dr. Brahin. Dr. Brain has a very pleasant personality and examination was thorough. Everything was explained clearly. I would 100% recommend seeing him.

Receptionist and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The doctor was knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and helped come up with alternatives. A very pleasant experience. I will be back

The receptionist is rude, uncaring. She cares more about collecting our fees. Then anything else. We cant open the glass door. For so called safety reasons. But will make you wait till she decides to open it. So unprofessional, but thats the quality people that are beig hired. And this establishment is not the only one. Many other medical businesses have the same bad habits. But! They make sure you have insurance and pay your co/pay right there and then. As far Dr. Brahin , after 4 or 5 visits I didn't see bringing my wife any more. No real solutions to be applied to her condition (Dementia). So I was already considering not coming any longer. But the receptionist attitude ! Helped me decide to write this review and no longer use their services.

Dr. Brahin is an outstanding neurologist with an excellent bedside manner. His approach towards medicine is both compassionate, thorough and straight-forward. During my husband's appointment, he provided detailed explanations, making us feel confident in his expertise. Dr. Brahin's commitment to patient care instilled a sense of safety, and I highly recommend him for anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring neurologist.

As a medical professional of over 45 years myself, Dr. Brahin's knowledge and professionalism are superb. He is up to date on current procedures and protocols for any Neurological disorder. His staff was very accommodating to my busy schedule and the waiting time in his office was minimal. I would highly recommend him to any of my peer professionals or family

He’s a great physician and patient and cares about his patients tries to get them off of the meds

DO NOT waste your time at this office. The staff is horrible especially the “office manager” Esmeralda is her name who clearly does not know how to run a professional business. She is the rudest person that works at this office. Nothing is organized here, the wait time to see the doctor is over 2 hours. Everytime I contact the office I get put on hold and hung up on. It’s a 0 out of 5 stars for me .

He is a very professional Dr. He takes his time getting to know you and your concerns.

I am disability an Medicaid an it is very hard to find a neurologist in SA that's accepts this ins. The reviews on this place concern me But without much choice I have been set my first appt. An will have to be open minded when I arrive an see what all the reviews are concerned with on all 3 of these sites and hope for the best. I've had 3 surgeries shattered disk degenitive back disease an neuropathy an so on sometimes don't walk. I'm praying this place is actually on the up an up an helpfully. Kindness and a listener is essential with high anxiety patients!!! (( I placed 1 star till I actually go in person to appt. ))

Nothing but people in this office, really helping me get the answers I've been waiting for, thankful for the entire staff.

If you really need to be seen by a neurologist doctor this doctor is not for you this doctor is not the type of doctor that can help anybody the staff is very rude they're obnoxious they don't care about anybody you keep calling and calling for an appointment they say they're gonna help you get the appointment they never do my mom's been waiting for over a month to get in there and has not had a return call back so I'm gonna find a new doctor a real real doctor

I have had issues that numerous Neurologist have miss diagnosed.. After 18 years my primary care manager sent me for a consult with Dr. Brahin. When I arrived I was skeptical due to the office location & size. Once I met with him and told him what was happening & for how long he did a MRI like all the others did but he was the 1st one to recommend an EEG. Long and behold all this time I was having non-focal seizures and MRI confirmed it. I FINALLY had an answer diagnosis. Here I am 3 years later and I have not had one since thanks to have a proper treatment plan. What's great is that he's the only Doctor there so I see him every appointment. I don't have to worry about miscommunication between docs or having to repeating info. Plus his staff is amazing. There is a downfall with sometimes wait time being long at check in but it's only him and I take comfort in knowing that if I have to wait, it's because he took time the patient needed versus not listening and rushing the appointment. He and his staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. I had a CSF leak for over 2 years which could have caused meningitis. I got as far as saying “my nose has been leaking” before getting cutoff and told “I don’t know anything about that just take your medicine”. He even told me to get a license while I’m still having seizures. Charges $100 for his ridiculous signature on any paperwork when the top notch drs in Stone Oak only charge $25. He seriously should not be practicing medicine at this point seeing all these negative reviews his office should be shut down already. Stay away.

I have only seen him about 3 times but he is always caring and sympatric to what I have going on.

Scheduled an appointment over the phone with the receptionist 2 months prior. The receptionist even offered to put me on a list to be called sooner. I arrive for the appointment at the original scheduled time and they tell me I never called or made an appointment even though I have their office number saved to my contacts and have an agreed appointment time with the office. I waited months to see a doctor to be told to go home. 0/10 would not recommend.

Wait times are very long unless you have one of the earliest appointments. Dr. Brahin doesn’t listen as well as I’d like and has also made me feel as if I have no real input in my own care. When I ask about things like diet or things aside from medication, it seems as if that isn’t a route he’s willing to consider in any way.

Dr Brahin was very professional and easy to talk to. He had a very strong idea of what was wrong with me and reached out for my records from other providers, did his own test and was able to confirm his first diagnosis was correct. I find him to be very helpful and professional without treating patients like cattle.

I've been seeing Dr Brahin for 5 years. He keeps my neurological symptoms to a minimum. He's thorough and experienced.

He was very rude and staff the same. Would never go back.
