I was very Hesitant after Reading Reviews, but Dr.Engelmyer was a totally different person from what i Read in Reviews, He was so cordial, patient, and explained everything in detail to me about my issue. Would definitely recommend him.

Always careful and attentive to my medical issues and symptoms. Has a friendly attitude to patients and a studious approach to his specialty and delivery of treatment. Follow-up care is provided with the same professionalism. I have been a patient for more than ten years and his care has always been excellent and office staff has always treated my with the utmost courtesy and respect. I recently had surgery provided by Dr Engelmyer at Ellis hospital. From the time i first visited his office right through surgery and post surgery i was very pleased with him as my urologist and surgeon. My primary physician recommended him and i am glad that he did so.

My uncle had a horrible experience at this office. From the rude front desk staff/nurses to Dr Englemyers terrible bedside manner to actual medical mistakes he made that landed my uncle in the ER. He did not bother to review any results with our family and gave little to no information regarding my uncles condition. This is not patient centered care and treats the elderly with no respect.

Spoke with me for about 2 minutes, performed a 3 minute evaluation, ignored all of my problems and told me to add ibuprofen to my daily diet to combat my extreme pain. Do not go to this "doctor". Calling him a "joke" is a drastic understatement.
