I have been a patient of Dr. Haynes for 12+years. Alot of Federal/DEA & State changes have taken place. Many patients recently in chronic pain have had horrific traumatizing experiences, from medication to being abandoned. (Look up on Google, social media) BUT- Dr. Hayes & his staff ALWAYS have the patient's wellbeing & care a priority. Realize how many hoops they must jump through just for one patient. Advocate & give medical reasoning if above 'fed/dea 'guidelines,' stay in compliance, all while dealing with individual insurances (prior authorizations, approvals etc) then the pharmacy, and the local and national shortages. You have to understand the processes & your insurance & pharmacy & federal & state rules, guidelines etc. Advocate & educate as much as possible for yourself, to lessen the load. Clear specific communication is a must in pain management. 100 thumbs up to Dr. Haynes and his staff. *I am seen in Tampa office, on Countryway Blvd. THANKYOU CPMP, appreciate ya'll.

Dr Haynes refused me service for refusing to wear a mask even though 2 of his own employess didn't have one. He knew I had cardiovascular issues & was trying to wean off opioid. Thankfully I had already been reducing the new reduced dosage, so the withdrawal wasn't as severe as it could have been.

The worst customer service by a physician's office in my lifetime. The phone just rings and rings with most calls never being answered while several girls sit in the office by the phones. Patients not notified of significant scheduling changes. Unless you enjoy frustration, go elsewhere.

At first he seemed decent, but he doesn't actually care. FOR TWO WEEKS, I phoned and wrote on their Patient Portal after his PA, Rob, left important information out of my chart, and treated me like an idiot. He continued a medication that I told him, in no uncertain terms, gives me intractable migraines -- meanwhile, neither Dr. Haynes nor Rob even responded to me, and it's been two weeks. The PA operates under the doctor's license, not his own, and the doctor is ultimately responsible for those choices. Oh, and something interesting: the PA stated I can't have another appointment for a month (huh?) and that the migraine-causing medicine is "what the doctor wants you on, honey." Excuse me? He never even asked the doctor, and I'm not a pill-seeker. I have eight years of pain mgt with an actual GOOD doctor to show that. Seriously, don't bother. You'll have to deal with incompetent PA's and a doctor who could care less. They don't even take responsibility for... anything, it seems

I went to Dr. Haynes because I have chronic pain. He seemed unconcerned about my pain levels because he cut my pain medication by half while telling me to get out and walk more. Which I tried, but the pain is only getting worse. I have constant pain that shoots down my left leg. 2 weeks before I saw him, I hurt myself further causing hrs of pain. The 2nd day I woke with a ribbon of numbness that ran down the back of my leg to above my ankle then across the front of my leg and down into my foot and toes. I still have some numbness in my lower leg and toes. I am in constant pain now as I don't have the medication to control it. I'm not able to get much of anything done. He acted as if he believed I was nothing more than a drug seeker. I've been forced to cut my pills in half and take them every 6 hrs. By the end of the day I can't sit and watch TV, I can't get rest at night and more often than not I can't even fix dinner. So, NO! I would not recommend Dr Eric Haynes.
