Emergency aortic dissection on my husband.
You saved my husbands life on Dec 2, 2024 by agreeing to do his type a aortic dissection. You did it in 7 hours instead of usual 12 hours and it was a success. You took time to inform us of our options and you even took time to update me outside of the floor. Thank you for saving his life and making sure he had great care. He is doing fine and it is because of you and your staff. Shands and Dr Jeng are the best.

Stay Away
Dr Geng is terrible physician. He allows his ego to get in the way of patient care. When operations go bad and the patient has no chance of meaningful recovery, he straight faced tells the family they will walk out of the hospital. He has been reported multiple times to the ethics committee, but continues to do un ethical care by stating he can provide un achievable outcomes. Im amazed he can sleep at night with his conscience. There are multiple good surgeons at UF, choose another that wont allow your family member to suffer.

Dr Jeng saved my life and I will always be grateful to him. Saw him in November 2019 when I was so scared, terrified and confused about my condition including the prognosis. He took so much time in his office and even calling me at home answering all my questions and concerns. Performed my long surgery in December correcting everything that needed to be done and I can’t be more grateful !! I count myself lucky to have had Dr Jeng and his wonderful team- taking care of me. To anyone looking for an excellent doctor who gives his all towards the wellbeing of his patients, Dr Jeng is the answer and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. His team is amazing and Shand’s hospital is wonderful -so impressive all the way from the housekeeper, nursing and everyone else. Thank you all so much for taking care of me during my most vulnerable and desperate time. Continue the great, impeccable teamwork. Love you all!!!

Dr Jeng is excellent! Great listener, very knowledgeable, caring, patience, passionate, extremely dedicated to his work, ethical and will do everything possible to help all his patients. He doesn’t rush or ignore/disregard any questions raised by his patients. He takes extra time to answer each question in Seth reassuring the patients and helping them make the best informed decision about their conditions. Dr Jeng is simply impeccable in his profession,skill, compassion and willingness to help his patients.
