Dr. Eric Karlin, MD

I only came for a food allergy panel, however Dr. Karlin is one of the most tolerant and determined doctors I have encountered. He went out of his way to genuinely inquire about my history and health issues, even though they weren't allergy related. Truly exceptional.

Out of my entire care team (including my primary) Dr Karlin is without a doubt my favorite. I have never met a doctor who is more accommodating, thorough, and most of all, sympathetic. He has been treating my chronic hives for 10 years now and has always ensured my best interests were in mind. My hives are under control and he works to ensure they stay that way. He has gone to bat for me with insurance companies and in other ways as well. I wish he could be cloned and practice different kinds of medicine as well!

Dr. Karlin has treated both an allergic condition and a severe form of asthma that impact my overall health status on a daily basis. He has been instrumental in improving my quality of life over the past seven years that I have been under his very attentive care. His patience, empathy and understanding of my health status over this period of time have been outstanding. I can't imagine what my situation would be at this point without his input. It's a very hard thing to thank someone for being able to breath normally again but in this case I will simply say that the quality of care his has rendered and the degree of improvement in my life as a direct result deserve a "Thank You"! In addition, the level of service I have received from his nurses and front desk staff have been exceptional and second to none! Thank you again to Dr. Eric Karlin and his outstanding staff! Five stars is not enough!

Dr. Karlin is a terrific doctor who makes you feel at ease. During an appointment, he does not act hurried and he truly listens to you. I would recommend Dr. Karlin to anyone looking for a good allergist.

Karlin is a very thorough, young doctor with a excellent experience/knowledge in his specialty. If you're an allergy sufferer, you know that finding your triggers can be very tough. If you are comfortable doing so, Dr. Karlin will help you get tests to confirm or eliminate possible allergic triggers. However, he ALWAYS asks rather than tells. This is VERY important to me. He's partners with Dr. Shield, who would only do so if Dr. Karlin was among the best allergists the region had to offer.
