Dr. Eric Liberman, DO

Dr. Liberman is an Excellent Doctor. He is thorough, kind, compassionate, and personable. He didnt push me into any decisions, he gave me all the options and answered all my questions. Everyone from the office staff to his team at the hospital were amazing. He even called me back on a saturday evening, after I had been in the emergency room. Definitely reccomend him to any woman in need of surgery.

After experiencing years of chronic problems, I was fortunate enough to receive a recommendation from my gynecologist to see Dr. Liberman. Immediately in my consultation, I knew I was in good hands. He has fantastic bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable and understanding of everything regarding surgery and recovery. I am so thankful for his gifted hands, and that my surgery was flawless! I can’t recommend him enough! Also, the office staff is equally wonderful!

Dr. Liberman is terrific. He made a very stressful, fear inducing situation much more manageable. I felt he went above and beyond to prepare me and ease my anxiety. I felt very confident going into surgery and will be forever grateful to Dr. Liberman and all the staff at Cooperman Barnabas. Thank you!

Before I stopped by for my consultation, I read the google reviews about this doctor. I was very excited about what I readI expected to meet someone warm and empathetic based on those reviews but that was not my experience.He was cold. Not mean, but cold. He made assumptions for why I was there without even asking me about my goals. His assumptions were also very wrong.He did and exam and when he was done, told me his opinion in a matter of fact way, without suggesting any alternatives. I had to probe him to ask if there were any alternatives and he reluctantly gave them to me. Total time I was there, including the time I met him, undressed and dressed back up was 15 minutes. I will never go back. I felt rushed and spoken over. To be clear, he was not mean or rude, but there was zero empathy or bedside manner.

Dr. Liberman is a kind, compassionate, and caring doctor. As a woman of color, he provided a safe space to voice my thoughts/feelings, he spoke to me and not at me, and he made sure I understood what my upcoming procedure entailed. He was patient, detailed, and respectful. Of all my years going to the doctor, he stands out for the right reasons. If you are looking for a doctor with his specialty please give him a try.

I had a Dermoid ovarian cyst that Dr. Liberman removed, and I greatly appreciated his thoroughness and attention to detail with my case. He was attentive, patient, and caring every step of the way and made me feel extremely comfortable while dealing with such an unpleasant situation. Highly recommend Dr. Liberman on all fronts!

74 years old With a good/excellent health record I was very nervous and scare. Did not what to expect Doctor was professional friendly . Made everything clear . I was so so grateful.

I was recommended Dr Liberman when my original obgyn noticed a massive fibroid. He didn't push either way for hysterectomy or myomectomy - told me it was my decision. That helped me so much, emotionally, it felt like I had power back. I was in control, and I really appreciate that. Drs' want to tell you what you can/should do with your body, but the fact I was given a voice....I appreciate that so much. I ended up getting a hysterectomy and feel that I made that choice on my own and knowing that I had a voice on the matter, it really does help you heal.

Dr. Liberman is a kind, patient, empathic doctor who takes the time to listen and explain. His manner, both in his office and in a hospital setting, is positive and calm. He treats me with respect, as does his staff. I was sure I would never use a male gynecologist, or any male doctor, again, but he has become the exception.

Great doctor

I had had some miserable experiences with other drs and needed a procedure done. Dr Liberman and his staff were and are truly wonderful! They listened to my past experience and went above and beyond to help me. The prior dr had used wrong sized tools that caused great pain and Dr Liberman explained why that Dr may have done that, but completed the procedure with proper tools and a fraction of the pain. The nurses were also very patient and thorough in answering any questions and making me comfortable. The office staff were also very pleasant and accommodating. Very grateful to have found such a great dr and practice. I felt respected the whole time!!! Beautiful!!!

Extremely disappointing. Waited 30 minutes in reception. Then waited another 45 minutes undressed in the exam room wearing only a sheet. He spent 1 minute talking to me, 3 minutes for an entire exam which was not thorough and I would not recommend him to anyone.
