I wont recommend him to anyone
I trusted Dr Mayer I read his reviews and education his bed side manner was atrocious at best while needles were in my back he started a guessing game concerning my name origins which he knew to be Middle eastern then proceeded to tell me of his ethnicity which especially in that situation was very inappropriate I found it very distasteful and I'm honestly concerned about what he did actually do. I was in so much pain the entire process was it his agenda or medically normal. I would advise anyone w middle east origins to look elsewhere for a Doctors assistance. Im honestly not sure if he's just awkward or intentionally caused me so much pain ( very scary conversation to have during a procedure painful as I experienced)

Listened well
Not only did Dr Mayer listen well but was very clear worth options and want trying to just order a bunch of tests that would cost a lot of money even with insurance. He referred me to A memorial-muscular specialist.

Skeptical of this Doctor.- will not return.
Diagnosis NOT consistent with any previous MRIs or referral Orthopedic doctorOr my primary doctor. Shocked at response to sedation question. Injection in shoulder totally useless & not added in patient portal. Referral to an endocrinologist totally against primary doc diagnosis. Have seen primary after appt. Very skeptical of Dr Mayer care and will NOT return. Checked with other medical providers to confirm my negative experience.

Professional and caring
Dr. Mayer, from x-rays, explained exactly what is happening with my spine and walking issues. I am so relieved to know the “whys” of my problem (scoliosis) and to be given a treatment program that may bring me improved mobility. For the first time, I feel hopeful about being able to walk and stand. He also treated my husband in the last year for a broken neck, C-1, 2, 3, and prescribed a treatment process that enabled him to maximize his future activity and also gave him so much encouragement! Dr. Mayer is obviously bright and at the top of his game, quite skilled medically, very pleasant to be around, and has a zest for living that is contagious.

Office visit.
Dr. Meyer is a great physician. He anticipates the issues, states some clearly, is a good diagnosis that’s understandable, and obviously has a great knowledge base and insight. An excellent provider he spoke in terms that I could understand. He answered questions. I would highly recommend Him to anyone with an appropriate muscular skeletal disorder.

I've been suffering with this excruciating pain (hip area) for ruffly more than 11 years I'm 35 yrs old now I've been to so many doctors and all have misdiagnosed me with the real reason I'm having so much pain but let me tell you my first visit with Dr.Mayer he actually listened to me& asked me questions & decided to send me to get 2 MRI'S done. At the following appointment he told me what I have & how he was going to help me out. I'm just beyond grateful for DR.Mayer I can't wait to start doing all the normal activities & actually going out more with my children & husband without this pain ruining our plans. I just can't wait to start walking without a limp (duetopain). Thank Dr.Mayer I can't wait to starting feeling better. Oh & his staff is very sweet & kind as well.

THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN! I would give him negative stars, if I could. He did not listen to me, and misdiagnosed my bulging disc, saying the shooting pain down my left arm was Bursitis & he gave me an injection. He refused to administer oral steroids to alleviate my pain. It was the worst month of being under a doctor's "care"! After the pain got worse after the misdiagnosis, he tried a nerve root block. Horrible experience! I repeatedly asked if I needed someone to drive me home after the procedure & was told I didn't need sedation. He lied & said the initial injection for numbing meds was going to be the worst pain I'd feel throughout the procedure. That was not true! My blood pressure was very elevated before the procedure, and even more after(180+/110+) and no one seemed concerned. Just told me I could get dressed & leave after 15 minutes. Called back with no pain relief from nerve block & he referred me to a surgeon with bad reviews(Eeric Truumes). I do not trust him!!!!!

Dr. Mayer is the best! For some reason he is no longer with CCF. It is truly the patients and CCF loss. He was very thorough and explained everything! What a very big loss to his patients. Now I have a CCF doctor performing a procedure on my back I have never met! Poor decision CCF!

I really liked Dr. Mayer. He listened to what was going on with my back. I couldn't even stand up straight when I went and saw him. He explained everything I could do at home to help too. He didn't have me wasting my time going to therapy multiple times a week. He told me the stretches to do at home and I did them and still do. He was very nice and compassionate. He was also thinking the same as me as far as surgery being my very last option. Some Doctors push for surgery right away.

I'm EXTREMELY shocked to see he has a low review! I have a rare birth defect and I'm very protective of myself because of it. I went to see him for my spine and he was very professional! He really couldn't help me BUT he didn't lie like most doctors do so that let's me know he's a doctor for the right reasons! Every question I asked he answered the best he could and told me he could refer me to another doc with more experience! I really appreciate him for that! He's a nice person!

He never even did a physical exam nor did he review medical history. He and his nurse practitioner were condescending and borderline rude. Gave no recommendations for aftercare and gave a diagnosis that two doctors since actually laughed at. He nor his nurse truly listened to what we were saying and the nurse asked why were there. (We were referred by Neurology at CC). Also both commented because my husband and I came back together. Could not have been more disappointed.
