Dr. Okum performed my CABGX4 after I was told by the Chief of Cardiology that I would probably die on the table the next day. However, God used Dr. Okum to keep me alive. Thank you Dr. Okum for being a vessel in God’s hands and a tremendous surgeon.

I was referred to Dr. Okum to have the mini-maze procedure done. I sat face to face with him and specifically asked what the risks were with this procedure and he told me no risks (I have witness). During the procedure, he cut the nerve that goes to my diaphragm and now I have a lot of difficulty breathing. I've been told there is no way to correct this. I spent 10 days in Cardio Vascular Intensive Care for what Dr. Okum told me would be a 3 day recovery. Then he tried to cover up his error.
