Obviously Missed the Class on Bedside Manner
Dr spent the entire appointment either dictating to his phone or with his face in the computer screen. Got the feeling that his only interest was figuring out all of the tests he could schedule to make more money. Expressed no concern

Listened respectfully and explained thoroughly.
Very little waiting room time. Listened attentively and was genuinely concerned and his explanations were thorough. Very pleasant personality both in the hospital and in the office.

Aweful! Egotistcal, no compassion, incompitent, and very rude. All he knows is 'More Meds' After only a couple of weeks, I started to have hallucinations and that was scary... I discussed it with him but he rudely threw his pen an the desk and said 'When you need a heart Dr. call me' Not a chance! His behavior degrades the other competent doctors in the office. Sad!

Horrendous.
I had a 10 am appt was asked to be 20 minutes early which I was. And at 12pm I still hadn't seen this doctor. And walked out. I guess his 20 years is supposed to make up for his tardiness. If your looking for professionalism this is not the place. Professionals keep their appointments slackers keep you waiting. I will gladly take my health needs to a far more professional corporation.

No confidence
Been seeing Pressman for several years. Still having an issue with shortness of breath and rapid heartbeat. No real diagnosis; always suggesting problem is elsewhere; not heart related. Not sure of his competence.

Terrible
I was having chest pain and he did some tests and told me there was nothing wrong with my heart. I asked why I was having pain and he said that I should just take better care of my self. I got a second opinion and was told that I had fluid on my heart that was squeezing the heart and needed to have the fluid drained. Despite his his uncaring, flippant attitude I am still alive today.

HORRIFIC
Spent no time with my husband who was released from the hospital with a fractured skull and a brain bleed. Just did not seem to care, was arrogant, and said if insurance paid they may do a test in 6 weeks. My dear sweet husband passed away several days later. So, Pressman does not have to worry about getting money first and giving medical help second. JUST NO TO THIS CHARLATAN.

No chance.
I had a terrible experience with Dr Pressman’s office. He referred me to Dr Ekert for an ablation and he and his staff were great. Dr Pressman’s office was suppose to schedule an implant monitor within 2 weeks of the ablation. It’s been a month and I have called numerous times and still no call back.

I like his style
Dr Pressman looked in on my husband while he was in the hospital. He was direct and to the point. I found that refreshing. Dr Pressman will continue to see my husband in the office, and feel confident in his care.

Perhaps the worst bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. His ego enters the room before him. Talks painfully loud and never looks at you. Bangs away on the keyboard while failing to communicate effectively. Terrible experience. Immediately looked for a new doctor.

The office staff at CCE is lacking in knowledge, compassion, willingness to help, and perhaps ability to do their job. If you want records sent or requested, billing without errors, or to receive test results, do not go here. It takes several weeks to get test results. Most recently, the nurse finally called and was very rude. I said I was having trouble hearing her. Her reply was “What do you want me to do?” Seriously?!? Maybe speak up, or speak slower, or speak more concisely. I tried to bring my mother in as a new patient. They had to receive records from her previous cardiologist prior to making an appointment so she filled out the form. A few months later, I called to ask the status. The records clerk could not care less. She had not received any records. I asked if she had sent the form? She said, “You’d have to ask them.” Really, there’s not enough interest in getting new patients to track and follow up on records requests? (I called the previous doctor—no form was received.)

Arrogant, disparaging and condescending. Questions you like you were a a 3 year old toddler caught in the cookie jar. When a patient indicates that they have been treated by other out of area cardiologists, his disposition transforms and he becomes quite agitated. From there the appointment goes downhill. Phone in requests are always on the diner bell time with their answering system and ones' requests seem to get lost in the phone lines too often. Constant EKG's and always pushing stress testing. Does not identify the new drugs he prescribes with thoroughness or cost. His manner is always brusque when he is finger typing away and one feels that the appointment is prematurely over while you are waiting to be excused with no more questions being accepted. Although he is a very astute and competent cardiologist, a course in interpersonal skills would benefit the patient/doctor experience appreciably.

Ordered several tests over a 2 week period. Had a 4pm appointment to review tests 3 days after all tests completed. Got into office 30 minutes late. He never looked at results until we were in his office, then very short, quick unprofessional explanation of tests. Walked out, office dark, staff gone. Don't think much of him at all
