I was to return today for a laser procedure on an eye having had the other eye taken care of about six months ago at the Bluffton office. The today's eye exam was completed for what I am not certain....Dr. Purdy said nothing about the expected and scheduled laser exam for todays date. I was origially scheduled for December 19th but the staff called me changed it to today's date January 10th Extremely disappointed with the appointment today. The only thing that occurred today was to schedule a follow up exam in one year. I suspect the other item will be a claim to my insurance for the nonproductive eye exam that was to have been for a second laser procedure follow up appointment....I suspect Dr. Purdy did not even read my medical record to identify the need for and scheduled second eye laser procedure. Crazy and unbelievable that this happened ........lousy care

Dr. Purdy has performed 3 different surgeries on my eyes. Each one was successful. He explained in detail what was involved in each procedure and answered all my questions. He is a very caring, experienced surgeon. He regularly makes mission trips to other countries to perform surgery. I would recommend him to family and friends.

He seemed like he knew what he was talking about but he never gave me the chance to really talked and jumped right in to what he thought was wrong based off of the two words I got out
