Got bad care
I have very high arches. When I saw Dr Ricefield he sold me insoles that he manually adjusted with his hands. I later learned from my PCP as well as another podiatrist that the OTC insoles he sold me are only for ppl with flat feet(80%). The insoles really messed up my feet, I am still having pain. Big ego, definitely phoning it in

Nice guy, friendly staff. Zero respect for your time. Got there one day for a 9:45am appointment on time. At 9:50 I heard him go into the room next to mine and greet that patient. So already over a full appointment behind when the day's first started. Fine, I let it go. Then I had surgery scheduled with him this past Friday. I arrived as requested at 11am. At almost noon a nurse came out to tell me I was number 3 on his schedule and he had just gone into the OR with patient 1. I left. I'll find someone else who respects his patients' time.

Arrogant jerk who spoke to me like I was stupid and who made wisecracks about the low IQ of other patients to his nurse right in front of me. Got much worse after my first visit once he had locked me into surgery dates and follow-ups. I was always very polite to him but he definitely took pleasure in insulting me without provocation. Surgery made my foot worse and he had made it sound like it would cure everything.

Forty minutes late for an appointment with no explanation? That level of ignorance is not cool. Plenty of Podiatrists around, I will look for one that can manage their time or at least pretend to consider other people. A commodity service like this should focus on doing things like managing schedules well. Of course - things can happen, but a word showing appreciation goes a long way.

Dr. Ricefield and the entire practice are awesome and very professional. Every member of my family has been a patient of the practice over the years. My son needed an orthotic a few years ago, my wife was having pain from running last year, and I had a recent foot injury. Dr. Ricefield is always attentive, engaging, and explains everything. Even my father and step-mother are long time patients.

A competent podiatrist. Very loose with his billing practices. Does not explain that he is performing more than requested services. As a result, patients end up being billed for unrequired procedures. This happens after patients pay their co-payment in advance of the appointment. This results in being turned over for collection which adversely affects your credit rating. SENIOR CITIZENS BEWARE!!!
