I have been a patient of Dr. Saunders for many years and he has been great. I had moved out of state and went to a doctor that was highly rated and had a horrible experience. So thankful that I was able to move back and have him for a doctor again. I have the utmost confidence in him as a doctor.

I needed to see an eye doctor urgently. Even though I was a new patient, Dr. Saunders' office gave me an immediate appointment. Dr. Saunders was compassionate, patient, and highly competent. Explained everything thoroughly. I did not wait at all. The office staff was outstanding. I would not go anywhere else. I have already recommended Dr. Saunders to everyone in my family.

While the doctor may be ok, the practice is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. I had a question about the charge, the lady just yelled saying "Don't come here anymore, this way we don't overcharge". When I asked to speak with the doctor, she said that their policy is the doctor never returns patients calls. Save yourself a headache, find another practice.

Dr Saunders is a great doctor; listens, answers questions, very positive personality. However, the office has changed under Valley Medical Group and it's not good. Rude staff, much higher billing rates than Ridgewood Ophthalmology. Old office was great, easy to schedule, never waited long to see a doctor, they greeted all the patients by name. New office could not care. Not happy with the change at all.

I would highly recommend Dr. Saunders. He is a good listener with practical and helpful advice. I am happy now that the practice accepts Medicare because I really did not want to have to find another opthamologist. I return to that practice because of him. It is very important to whom you trust your eye care to and have confidence in. Front desk staff could be curt if it is a non routine issue that needs attention and follow up.

He is focused on you and provides simple explanations for your procedure.
