My experience with Dr. Yap and my procedure was perfect from start to finish. I can’t complain about anything. Would highly recommend him and his office. Will be having others in the future due to my age and can rest and relax about those times. Thank you ALL!

Dr Yap did not take the time to review my reports either before hand nor during the appointment, did not discuss next steps. I urged the doctor to review the reports and help guide me but he was simply not interested, did not provide any guidance and had me out of there in less than 3 mins. I had waited to see Dr Yap for over a month and the office kept me waiting for more than 1 hour for one of the first appointments in the morning. Would strongly recommend to not see Dr. Yap and waste your time with him.

My consultation was for evaluation for screening colonoscopy. It had been 10 years since my prior screening procedure. Dr. Yap completed a thorough medical history review and examination. He agreed with need for the procedure and answered all questions. The only problem was his schedule was completely booked for almost 3 months and I needed to wait until the 2024 schedule is available to schedule the procedure. IOverall, he is a smart, kind, warm professional and I would highly recommend him to others.

Second screening with Dr. Yap. This office is friendly, fun, caring and organized. Sr. Yap is thorough and explains everything you need to know and answers any and all questions. Also made sure staff followed up to make sure I was doing okay a day or two after the procedure.

Having UC is no joke, it is a rough journey in your life. For me, Dr. Yap is one of the best GI Doctor out there, very smart and you get quick response if you have any concerns. He really takes care of his patients. He knows what would be the best treatment/medication if you flare. I planned to stay w/ Dr. Yap as long as I have UC.

Dr. Yap was very attentive to my concerns and tried to answer all my questions. He seems to be very reasonable in terms of scheduling additional exams/lab tests.

I have seen Dr. Yap for both office visits and procedures, and while he's great at both, I'm commenting mostly on the latter, because the efficiency of procedures in this office is *astounding*. As in, procedures actually start exactly when they say they will start. They run a very efficient ship.

Front start to finish the process and procedure were professional, comfortable and completely explained. Doctor Yap and the entire and professional and friendly. They all make sure you are comfortable and understand everything. Would recommend him and this practice!!

Thorough, professional & kind. Straightforward & takes time to explain & also listen

My appointment lasted probably 10 minutes. He simply did not care to hear about symptoms and the ones he did hear about he seemed to know very little about. I felt, through basic research leading up to my appointment, I knew more than he did, and what tests might help me. He even said "basically, this establishment is a 'country bumpkin' place, you have to go to a hospital network for real GI care". I'm in Seattle where there are three major hospital networks. What's the point of his office then? Just stupid.

I had a great experience with Dr. Yap. Before my appt. I got several reminders and instructions so it’s really easy to follow and get myself prepared. The procedure was super smooth. Dr. Yap and all nurses were very friendly. I only felt a little tired after the procedure. After some rest, everything went back to normal. I would recommend Dr. Yap for a great job he did.

As usual, everyone is a little nervous on getting a colonoscopy. When I went in, the staff made me feel less nervous and Dr. Yap came by and talked to me. They were very professional and nice. The procedure was really fast and he did a great job. I was glad that I picked him to do my procedure.

Very up front very informative And carrying

I went to Dr. Yap after seeing a different GI Dr. who didn’t bother to ask me questions or listen to me. Night and day difference with Dr. Yap. He is medically skilled and very compassionate as a human being. So glad I was able to switch to him.

Dr. Yap was very personable. The staff around him were excellent.

Absolutely outstanding care. From Brett and Diana's efficient and friendly service at the front desk to all the nursing staff--Malisa in prep, Irena in prep and assisting, Eric answering questions and getting all the paperwork signed, Nicole (and Tammy's pre-procedure help over the phone) in anesthesia, Valinda (especially in recovery) and Jami accompanying me to my waiting ride home--everyone was fantastic. To top it off, Dr. Yap is a wonderful, caring, skilled doctor who took the time to explain everything. He provided excellent care during both video and in-person visits. I highly recommend Dr. Yap and this entire team!

Nice team, moved efficiently and while I only met Dr. Yap the day of my colonoscopy, he really tried to connect with me personally and I really appreciate that. Team was incredible - fantastic nurses that all took great care of me.
