Good enough doc, maybe, but impossible to be seen
She seemed fine, but I had an appointment, set up maybe a year or more ago, for June 6 at 3:00. That was the last day of school, and precisely the hour at which I had to pick up my son from City High, so I couldn't keep the appointment. I received an email today inviting me to redo the appointment. I did want to see a dermatologist soon because of a couple of iffy, probably precancerous spots on my torso, so I called to see how soon I could be seen. The receptionist said not until December. I'm sorry, but I already am suffering from lymphoma, with associated dermal features such as petuchiae and purpura; I am not going to wait for six months to be seen. The Forefront Dermatology site says "Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to unparalleled, quality care without going out of their way or waiting weeks to receive it." "Without waiting weeks" -- instead, waiting half a year?

The Doctor Coleman was very nice and gentle, but I had a problem with the cream that she prescribed to me and when I tried to make a new appointment the staff did not help me at all. My face had a very bad irritation and redness and they did not resolve the problem. After few emails and phone calls I had to to go to other Doctor.
