Worst doctor with no empathy or respect
Dr. Oberman is the single most unprofessional person. i would give her zero stars if I could. She made me wait for several months to get in to see her for a referral that was made to her by another UCLA physician and after months, she called and stated that she is too busy and that I should see some other female doctor which was extremely dismissive, rude and unprofessional. Who treats patients so poorly and after several months of making them wait by robbing me from the opportunity to see another physician for my physical health just play ping pong and simply leave a dismissive and disrespectful message on my voicemail treating me like cattle. What a rude and unprofessional woman who has no care, compassion or empathy for any one and seems to be so self absorbed and so ignorant. I plan to escalate and make a formal complaint to the Board and UCLA to make sure she is held accountable.

Just doesn't care
Ignored my pre-eclamspia symptoms until I ended up in an emergency c section and wasn't monitoring my baby closely considering which also landed her with a 2 week stay in the NICU. NICU nurses asked me IF I had prenatal care, assuming for some reason I hadn't even been to a doctor - were shocked to find out my OB was their head of residency. I was readmitted to the hospital a few days after going home because she wasn't interested in managing my blood pressure medication despite my symptoms getting worse post delivery not better...and I nearly died in the ER waiting room after her sage advice that morning was to 'drink more water'.

Dr. Oberman - A Miracle Worker in Women's Health
Undergoing an abdominal hysterectomy after two years of suffering from a fibroid uterus was a daunting decision. Dr. Oberman's exceptional care made it a life-changing experience. The heavy bleeding and severe anemia requiring weekly iron infusions were alleviated through her expertise. On the day of surgery, Dr. Oberman's patience and detailed explanations to me, my mom, and husband eased my fears. The successful surgery led to a surprisingly swift recovery, with full clearance to resume normal activities within six weeks.Expressing my gratitude is beyond words. Dr. Oberman's compassionate care and surgical skill were nothing short of a lifesaver. A 5-star rating feels insufficient to capture her excellence. If you seek a GYN combining expertise with genuine compassion, Dr. Oberman is unparalleled. She transformed my life and left an indelible mark with her exceptional care – a true gem in gynecology.

I have loved seeing Dr. Oberman for my first pregnancy. I always feel like she has my best interest at heart, and has supported my requests/questions/preferences through pregnancy and birth plan. She is direct, but very knowledge and will make you feel safe and comfortable. She is also quick to reply through MyUCLA online portal within a business day for any questions I have, and she is always on time with my appointments.

Very rude and unaccommodating. Did literally nothing to help me and was very dismissive. I really thought UCLA would have better doctors than this.

She's great! I've had so many questions and been afraid of different things in my pregnancy. She is a very straight forward, to the point type of doctor, but she is very thorough and I feel completely safe and taken care of my her. She's patient and will help you think through solutions. She really really knows her stuff. I would definitely recommend her to a friend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Oberman's for years and have worked with her with reproductive issues like cysts and I just had a healthy baby under her care. She is compassionate, extremely intelligent and I will be a patient of hers for as long as I can. I even recommended her to my best friend and she loves her too! She also had a healthy baby under her care as well.

Dr. Oberman may seemed nice during first few visits. However, if anything comes up during your pregnancy, you will realize that she isn't caring at all. I had abdominal pain. I saw her and asked some questions. She was very impatient and insisted that it will either go away, or maybe my baby isn't healthy and nature will just decide if my baby can survive. I asked about possible way of treatment. She laughed at me and tried to rush me out of her office. I switched doctors.
