Like the saying says You don't know what you lost until you lose it. I was a past patient of Dr. Mckay until I moved to Georgia 4 yrs. ago.She can not be replaced. No other doctor I have had since even comes close.

Dr. McKay is our family's primary care physician. She is one of the best we have ever worked with; she cares, listens attentively and develops a plan of care that takes a holistic approach. The only negative we have encountered is that our pre-scheduled appointments are often cancelled or rescheduled and it is difficult to get in to see her when needed. While we are frequently encouraged by hospital staff to switch to another practitioner as our primary, we are not interested in that. We value having a dedicated doctor that knows our full medical histories and is as concerned and attentive as she is, and the new hospital philosophy of "teams" that is their current approach have caused several medical misdiagnosis and failures in obtaining appropriate and timely care in the past for both of us. As a result, we have to deal with the frequent issues in scheduling with Dr. McKay, but in the end it is totally worth it.

Dr.McKay is simply the best...on every level important as a doctor. Highly valued is the respect she gives me, listening to my concerns and acknowledging my insights and opinions. For me, working with Dr. McKay is truly a collaborative Doctor/patient relationship...I feel heard, respected, and well cared for. I have several significant ongoing conditions in addition to routine and singular events...no stone is left unturned, and I never feel rushed. I count myself blessed to be her patient.
