Dr. Erin Meyers
Dr. Erin Meyers was the doctor who saw me in the E R at St. John's Hospital on the morning of Oct. 6, 2024. She was thorough, reassuring me that they would take good care of me, and explaining the steps that would take place next. I felt she was interested in me as a patient and greatly appreciated her manner and sensitivity to my pain and concerns. Mary Wrobel

extremely dismissive of patient needs
I went into ER tonight, with severe abdominal pain. Doctor advocated for hospital recourses rather than my care when I asked for a CAT scan with contrast. I know the risks and also costs of this but knew it was necessary for me to find answers to m problems. She made comments such as “this is not a menu, you can’t just pick what you want” other staff members disagreed with her decision to not do a CAT scan with contrast and insinuated that she likes to bully her way into being right. This practice is extremely dangerous. I left without receiving proper care and will go elsewhere.
