Very thoughtful doctor
I started seeing Dr Yap about 2 years ago. He is very detailed and refined the treatment plan each time. He took the time to explain things; answering all our questions. Appreciate him!

Excellent nephrologist !
I have had the distinct pleasure of working alongside Dr. Yap, a kidney specialist whose expertise and dedication to patient care are truly outstanding. I have known him since our fellowship training in nephrology and I have been impressed by Dr Yap's deep knowledge of kidney disease, as well as his ability to manage even the most complex cases with precision and compassion.Dr. Yap is not only an expert in kidney disease, but also a true advocate of patient care. He takes time to understand their unique problem and always comes up with sound plan of care resulting in great patient satisfaction. Excellent physician!
Dr. Yap took care of my family member with kidney disease; he went over the labs, the ultrasound and all the medications with great care and patience. He then proceeded to explain and showed me just how knowledgeable he is about medicine in general and kidney disease in particular! He is wonderful!

Dishonest about my CKD
He told me my kidneys were in good condition and that I didn't have kidney disease when every detail of my lab tests showed otherwise. He totally misleading me and if I didn't push back about the lies he told me, I would have gone on to have my kidneys decline unchecked. He is a danger to patients.
