Dr. Salazar attended to my infection both in the hospital setting and in the OR. She was super-communicative and made great decisions. Kudos to her wonderful team who went out of their way to help me, including coming in on a holiday for dressing changes. She is extremely skillful as a surgeon and her postoperative care went above and beyond expectations. She is caring, personable and professional at the same time and I would recommend my friends to visit with her any day

A True Professional
Dr. Salazar and her staff are always sincere about your visit. She takes the time to answer all of my questions or concerns. I always appreciated that when the cancer was diagnosed in the back of my neck; she knew the complexity of the procedure and she made arrangements for me to access another doctor to complete the surgical process. Her upbeat personality and E.N.T knowledge are a huge plus in serving Pueblo and the surrounding area. I've been in remission for four years and have never had an issue with scheduling or medical billing. Her staff is very professional.

Great Experience!
Dr. Salazar and her staff are wonderful!! Pueblo Colorado is very fortunate to have such a dedicated doctor in our town. They were kind enough to get us in quickly and take excellent care of our family. Everything went extremely smooth. So happy to have found an ENT in Pueblo.

Great Doctor
Dr. Salazar has treated our children since coming to Pueblo. They are now 15 and 17. She answers all questions to your satisfaction, explains procedures thoroughly and you never feel rushed. Recently, our daughter cut her eyelid open at school and the school nurse felt that it required stiches. Respecting Dr. Salazar's opinion, I called and asked if she would look at it to see if she did need stiches. (Trying to avoid the craziness of the ER with Covid.) She was kind enough to stich the eye. Our daughter being 17; was concerned that it may leave a scar. Her eye has healed, and it looks great!! We are very pleased with the outcome. Dr. Salazar really cares about her patients. She is compassionate, gentle and a skilled surgeon. If you are looking for an ear, nose and throat physician, we strongly recommend Dr. Esperanza Salazar!

BAD EXPRIENCE W. DR. SALAZAR
"With all due respect to the Medical Profession; but with disappointment, I have to say that my One-Time appointment with Dr. Salazar is of disrespect for her; her actions and her Unprofessional Behavior!! (1) Having arrived for my appointment with Dr. Salazar; I was instead, met by a Speech Therapist who was there at such time. (2) Together with another; the Sp. Ther. had a Vocal Cords Test done on me; then called in Dr. Salazar to View results. Quickly They Both agreed that I should go to Speech Therapy with Same Therapist there. (4) My appt. with Speech Therapist was a disaster, she tried to get my voice to go higher and did other tests; but in my opinion she Failed Me, and I was excused from going back FOR SPEECH THERAPY. (5). In my Opinion; I never met; Never Talked personally to Dr. Salazar; SHE NEVER TOUCHED ME PERSONALLY, NEVER CHECKED ME HERSELF; SO SHE DOES NOT KNOW MY CONDITION, AND SHE SHOULD "NOT" BE TELLING MY PCP THAT SHE DID NOT SEE ANYTHING WRONG W. ME!!

I highly recommend Dr. Esperanza Salazar to anyone who is in search of an ear, nose and throat specialist. I needed to have 2 large nodules and half of my thyroid removed. Not only did she listen to me and answer all of mine and my husband’s questions, she answered questions that neither one of us thought of. She explained the type of surgery, what to expect before, during and after the surgery. I had the most minimal of bruising after the surgery and no swelling. I give Dr. Salazar a 5 star rating and that is only because this rating system will not allow me to give her, her office staff and her surgical team more than 5 stars.

Dr. Salazar advised that I needed to have my thyroid completely removed. On the day of surgery she was there for me and explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. The surgical team as a whole was amazing. Kudos to her office staff too, always friendly and willing to help.

For my specific case, Dr. Salazar was the ENT doctor on call and responded to the ER when I was in respiratory distress to properly diagnose me with a vocal cord disorder. Her response time was very prompt. After 3 intubations she was the first doctor to properly diagnose me and get me the proper help I needed. She performed surgery on me and sent me to an amazing provider in Denver for further care as my diagnoses is very rare. Although I see a new provider in Denver, Dr. Salazar has never stopped checking on me. She continues to see me as my provider in Pueblo for urgent needs with my temporary tracheostomy. Dr. Salazar is extremely knowledgeable, gentle, genuine, well diverse and just an all around amazing person. Because of my young age and everything I have experienced medical wise with my diagnosis she has taken me in like family and has made it very easy to reach her for anything I need. I highly recommend her as an ENT specialist. You will not be disappointed with her care.

Got a tonsillectomy back in February and had a bad experience with Dr. Salazar. Dropped the cauterize tool on my lip, burned through the inside. Had to get stitches, and on top of that she left a chunk of my tonsil in my throat. Was told in my check up I would have to go through surgery again to get it removed. When it should’ve been checked before my surgery was over. I don’t understand how she didn’t notice that.
