Great Provider
I'm not sure why everyone else has beef with Dr. Choudhury. I came in because I was really stressed about an injury and he calmed me right down. He was patient, respectful, and had a good sense of humor.

Rude
Dr. Choudhury talks to you like you are stupid, has no respect, and refused to give treatment. What kind of doctor is this? He should be fired!

I made an appointment at urgent care on Thanksgiving Day due to severe neck and shoulder pain from a probable pinched nerve. The pain was so unbearable I could barely move without pain and I couldn't sleep at all. Upon arrival at the urgent care office, the nurse staff was so nice and accommodating. I wish I could say the same for the attending doctor I saw, DR. ESTAK MOHAMMED CHOUDHURY MD. He was rude, unhelpful, off putting, and down right mean. He verbatim said to me what do you expect me to do for you?, told me there was nothing at the facility that could help me, gave some loose instructions about seeing the Kaiser spine center. Then he went to examine my neck. I had a neck brace on and was laying down flat on the hospital bed. It was excruciating for me to even try to move myself to an upright position. I asked if he could help me sit up. He refused and said Well, how did you get here today?, insinuating that if I was able to get my self to urgent care that I didn't in fact need help sitting up? To top that off the information he gave me was incorrect and then he sent a follow up message to me in my member portal which was a link to a video about diet for diabetes which had nothing to do with the issue I was there for. I don't even have diabetes. Incompetent care, he should never see patients again unless Kaiser's goal is to make patients feel like an inconvenience.

rude and demeaning
Dr. Choudhury was incredibly rude and demeaning. I came in with a pinched nerve or spinal spasm of some kind and it was incredibly painful to move. After waiting for hours to be seen, and getting myself on the bed he finally came to treat me. Ofc the wait was not his fault but when he came in he said “sit up for me” knowing that im having in extreme back pain - i asked him “can you adjust the bed or help me? it’s extremely painful to move” to which he replied “how did you get there?”. Terribly unhelpful, refused to prescribe me the painkillers i need because he said “they usually don’t work in cases like these” and bedside manner tinged in misogyny and gaslighting . I hope none of you are put in his care.

Rude, arrogant, doesn’t listen. “ I’m an ER doctor!” Ok, when was your last intubation? Last central line ? IO ? External jugular ? Last treated a GSW ? Birth on arrival? Being v appearing (stating) two different things.
