Dr. Esther Udoji, MD

I had a follow up at Doris Shaheen Breast Center concerning a mass that was found in my left breast. After my Ultrasound, I proceeded to ask Dr. Esther Udoji questions concerning the mass and was taken aback with her response. She stated, “ you’ve had this done every year for the past several years, did they not go over this with you.” I continued to ask questions and received the following response: “This is in your chart” “Did they not tell you this” “Should I write this down for you to remember” “You had this done and it’s the same result” Whether I’ve have a procedure every month or every year I should never be made to feel uncomfortable about asking questions concerning my health, regardless if they are redundant. Things change in a year that’s why we have yearly exams.
