Dr. Ethan Ittner, DO

I'd certainly vouch for the guy. He's worked with me for years and I'm very thankful for his help!

I highly recommend Dr. Ittner. He’s honest, thoughtful, and truly cares for his patients. When I walk into his office I know I’m free to share my concerns without judgement. He takes everything I say into consideration when it comes to treatment, and when finding the right medication/ adjusting doses he’s always been spot on. It’s amazing having a doctor I can trust, and I’m grateful.

Dr. Ittner is very knowledgeable in his field. He cares about his patients and creates treatment plans that work best for his patients. His office is easy to get through to. Dr. Ittner makes his schedule available, so it doesn’t take long to get an appointment. Calling in for refills and a call back from messages left are smooth, easy, and returned quickly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ittners for 3 years. He is a great listener and always seems to say something that resonates with me, he is validating and recommends great books that have helped me immensely in my recovery. My only complaints are that; he is overly responsible when it comes to prescribing certain medications that are needed at certain times, that my MD feels are medically necessary for me. My other complaint is to Therapeutic Solutions for placing me with a psychiatrist that is not knowledgeable in my condition. With this being said, I believe Dr. Ittner is doing the best he can for me under the circumstances of Therapeutic Solutions.

My experience was similar. He wouldn’t let me talk with him privately about my daughter’s symptoms, even though she is under 18. He didn’t really want to give me the time of day during the course of the appointment. He prescribed tons of blood tests for her that were mostly unnecessary that would’ve cost me a fortune. To top it all off, the office billed me incorrectly so now I have to pay 90% rather than 50%. The office even denied it they did that.

The staff at Therapeutic Solutions is mostly helpful but Ethan Ittner is not helpful at all. It seems like he is only interested in getting you into as many appointments as he can just to take your money. Every time I see him I tell him that the meds I'm on aren't doing anything for me, and he refuses to change it. If you want a doctor that takes you seriously and listens to your concerns or worries than Ethan Ittner is not the doctor for you.

Ittner is not looking to help people with severe depression. He saw my husband twice. Once to charge outrageous fees and unnecessary labs (Over $1800 worth) which are covered by insurance but due to large deductibles we paid out of pocket. If my husband had gotten the help he needed, then I would have gladly paid that..but he did not. He was told he didn't need a psychologist but a therapist and then left on his own to set that up. This is not good healthcare.
