Dr. McBean has treated me twice. He performed a Gastric Bypass surgery on me in 2017. As of this day, I have managed to keep my weight off. He also performed a hernia repair in July of 2023. It was during my follow up visit that unrelated concerns that I expressed to him resulted in me discovering that i had Bile Duct cancer which was not only found in time, it was removed 100%. I have been suffering from 2 hernias in turn caused stomach problems for several years. Dr Mcbean repaired my 2 hernias and i feel better than i have felt the last 10 years. He is a phenomenal surgeon which includes his bedside manners, his knowledge the way he explains information and his sincerity. He cares about his patients. I trust him. No doubt one of the best! Dr. McBean did my sleeve and hernia repair. I am so glad that I was sent to him because he makes you feel very comfortable with him. He has a great personality and he follows through with his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to start their weight loss journey or for any other procedure he performs. Im the oldest son Andre, my mom just got out of surgery, felt very grateful that she arrived back home, I've wouldn't known what To do if she went south... To her she is my everything, my mother,father,aunt,uncle, and even my brother. She always tells me "As a black man you have to work for your goals 20 times harder compared to other people," and I take that to notice but just never taken it seriously. We've moved alot just for my mom to give us a better life, from the time when I was born, I always see my mom fight to get us food on our plates, without depending on my biological father, there was one moment when she went out for a job and, my brother and I would go out to look for her, which the neighbor spotted us and called the cops, which im very grateful for for that. Now that I am 18 I get more understanding on how the system works in USA. All I want to do now is to make my mom proud and become someone that she can brag out. Thank you, she being home provides motivation for me.
