Ankle Pain - No Insurance
I recently had excruciating ankle pain and went to urgent care. They highly recommended him. I was able to get an appointment quickly. He accepted my x-rays from urgent care and didn't require new ones which would be an additional cost. He offered treatment plans since i didn't have insurance and associated costs of each. All options where very reasonably priced. He cares about his patients and his support staff is top notch! I highly recommend.

Excellent Podiatrist for YEARS!!
I have had toe n foot issues for 20 yrs that have been reviewed by Podiatrists from East to the West Coast- Dr Rosenthal is the BEST Dr I’ve had the great pleasure of meeting. He always listens intently to my painful foot issues and works with me to resolve my problems.. He doesn’t rush to surgery and medication without understanding exactly what your history and issues are. I am so grateful for his valued advice and expertise!! Also the staff is very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend Dr Rosenthal and his staff.

Dr Rosenthal is AWESOME – Dec 10, 2024

I like Dr. Rosenthal very much. I suffered a broken ankle 6 wks ago. He has been very clear on what I can (drive!) and cannot do. Today he said I could stop wearing the walking boot. He gave me a choice on whether to wear an ankle brace, and said I could shop around for it or buy it from his clinic - my choice. He was recommended to me by an urgent care clinic, and I recommend him also.

Dr. Rosenthall is an absolute gem in the world of podiatry. Having visited renowned foot doctors in Manhattan and San Francisco, I can confidently say that Dr. Rosenthall surpasses them all by a country mile. His expertise, professionalism, and genuine care for his patients are unparalleled. From the moment I stepped into his office, I felt reassured and well taken care of. He took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and explain the treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. Not only did he alleviate my foot pain, but he also provided proactive measures to prevent future issues. The level of attention and personalized care I received from Dr. Rosenthall and his team is truly exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Rosenthall to anyone seeking top-notch podiatric care.

DO NOT GO HERE. I had plantar fasciitis, they recommended insoles and I said only if they are covered by insurance. They claimed to have called my insurance company and said they were covered and I only had a $40 co-pay. Turns out the office never asked Aetna if they were covered and then they say oh you actually owe us over $400 for the insoles. I said it was their error as they said it was covered. They refuse to help me resolve this issue and now are threatening to send me to collections. Unethical office.

Cares More About Making $$$ Than Helping Patients
Like another reviewer said, he persuaded me to buy very expensive $800 (hard) custom orthotics which ultimately didn't help my plantar fasciitis at all. It seemed to me that he cares more about making money than helping his patients. I showed the orthotics to a couple of orthopedic foot doctors and physical therapists and they all said the hard orthotics were not a good solution for my feet and it was money wasted. Never again.

Friendly and Communicative
I saw Dr. Rosenthall for ingrown toenails. He gave multiple options and talked through each one. He was able to do the procedure then and there and was very gentle with the numbing agent (usually people put it in too fast and it burns). Really happy I found Rosenthall - highly recommend him.

Expensive ineffective treatment
Ordered unnecessary orthotics without seeing my present ones and assuming they were old. you’re way too quick with his choice of treatment. Did nothing to compensate me for $450 worth of orthotics that did nothing for me. Saw a second podiatrist who built up my old ones for &40 worked like a champ. What he called compensation for me was a joke.

Innefective
Did one physical examination only, then recommended very expensive shoe orthotics made by his clinic. Orthotics didn't fix the problem, so he prescribed physical therapy, which didn't help either. At his recommendation, I came back for follow-up appointments because my condition was not improving. I was rushed out of the last two appointments, and understandably so, because what doctor wants to have an unsuccessful case in his hands? But he kept relying only on his initial physical examination and never referred me to another provider when it was clear that he didn't know what else to do. So, instead of investigating further with diagnostic exams, he continued to offer physical therapy, prescribed topical medication for arthritis (which he said I didn't have), and recommended at-home exercises. Money and time wasted for nothing. I went to a different doctor who sent me for an MRI, figured out what the problem was, and prescribed proper treatment. By the way, in 1 session.

I was the ONLY patient in the office and waited thirty minutes while outside the door, they talked about restraints and outings. Patients are NOT their priority!

My partner was seen by Dr. Rosenthal for a broken toe. He put her into a walking boot, which made doing her job virtually impossible, then refused to fill out the FMLA paperwork that would have enabled her to use her accumulated sick time to recover. Needless to say, she won't be using his services in the future. I would not recommend him, under any circumstances.

Went to Dr. Rosenthall for pain in my little toe. He was phenomenal! Dr. Rosenthall diagnosed my problem immediately, did X-ray to confirm. I explained that I was hiking the PCT trail in April and hoped he could help with the pain and fix the toe. I needed hammertoe surgery. In order for me to heal I needed the surgery right away. He scheduled me for Friday the same week. Dr. Rosenthall did my surgery during an office day for him and he did it on his lunch hour. I’m 6 weeks post surgery, no pain!

I recently moved to Denver and had a problem that needed quick attention. It was truly a great welcome to medical care in Denver. Dr. Rosenthall and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Rosenthall was very professional, friendly, punctual and explained what he was doing and the follow-up. Dr. Rosenthall also helped me with a recommendation for an Internist for my primary care. I truly appreciated that concern and assistance. My two appointments were a pleasant experience with great results!
