Dr. Eugenya Alesker, MD

As a patient with the following diagnoses: Bi-polar II disorder, borderline personality disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety, Dr. A looked me in the eye and said to me: "You are very sarcastic. Change your attitude and you will feel better." Does that sound like something a psychiatrist should say to a mentally unstable person? I was highly disappointed in the level of care and lack of a thorough assessment by this doctor and the entire system and practice of the understaffed and under-budgeted psychiatry unit of Norwood Hospital. The mental health system is seriously deranged and I will not stop fighting until it changes.

My time spent at Norwood psychiatrist unit was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Dr. Alesker only made the experience 10 times worse for me. Instead of trying to be considerate when I got emotional with her(because she wasn’t LISTENING to what I had to say.. nor trying to understand what I was saying.. and TELLING ME HOW I FELT), she walked away never apologized to me and the next day I was assigned a new doctor. Multiple patients I was there with also agreed that she was majorly unprofessional, inconsiderate and ignorant. She’s only in the field for the money and she should find a new job.
