Kind and Thorough
Dr. Kohara is caring and thorough. She takes time with her patients. It is easy to book an appointment and be seen. Both my kids love her. We have been with her for almost three years. I highly recommend her.

Rushed and Eratic
My visit to Dr. Kohara felt rushed and erratic. I did not trust the tests she was doing. She performed them incredibly quickly and then attempted to prescribe costly secondary evaluations. She is unpleasant to speak to and frequently catastrophizes, saying things to frighten the patient. I will not be returning. If you are able to go somewhere else, I would go somewhere else. There was nothing good about this experience.

Dr Kohara Is the best!
Dr Kohara is fantastic! She changed my life by correcting my 'lazy eye', allowing my eyes to work together for the first time. I suffered from double vision and loss of stereoscopic vision, but with a short and precise procedure she was able to align my eyes with each other. I give her a big thank you and would recommend her without hesitation!

Dishonest billing practices.
Dr. Kohara is nice and seems quite competent, but I wouldn't recommend this office unless you enjoy billing surprises. I brought my daughter in for an eye exam and payed the copay on the day of the visit. FOUR months later they sent me a $60 bill. When I pointed out that I paid my copay (which happens to be the same amount) on the day of the visit I was told that it was "for the prescription for her glasses." My daughter wasn't prescribed glasses. I was never told about this extra test or the additional cost at the time of the visit. Now they are insisting that I pay this bill WITH INTEREST for a service I didn't ask for and wasn't told I was receiving. Appalling.
