Listened, questioned, explained everything he was recommending. Some of his replies to my questions showed he had thoroughly reviewed my records from referring MD. Felt comfortable and relieved.

Would give 0 stars if I could
What a nightmare! He was degrading. This is apparently a pattern with him. Read other reviews. Find another neurologist.

Don't Waste Your Time
If I could rate him a zero, I would, because I have never actually met this doctor. Why? Since my dad's referral of LAST April (2022), he has rescheduled his appointment four different times: each time is no less than three MONTHS later. It's over a year later, my dad has STILL not been seen because of Dr. Evans rescheduling. We also asked that my dad be on a call-list in case anyone cancelled an appointment. That was November 2021. When asked about any cancelled appointments, they tell us no one has cancelled (which I find very hard to believe not a single person has cancelled). The only time they have called it to change my dad's appointment to months later. As a neurologist, you deal with pretty debilitating and progressive diseases and conditions (I'm a systems neuroscientist, so I am aware of how these diseases/conditions work). If my dad would have seen him in April of 2022, I'm not sure how it would have gone given Dr. Evan's clear lack of patient interest. However, my dad's sy

Worst Dr. Ever
I saw Dr. Johnson 2 years ago when he was still at Vanderbilt After waiting months for an appointment to discuss tremors in my hands and feet,I was examined for maybe 30 seconds (a generous estimate!) before I was told it was all in my head. I was informed that he was not going to waste valuable time and hospital resources to order expensive tests I didn’t need (an MRI) He implied that I was “just a hysterical female”, and said that I needed to get control of my anxiety and that the only order he was willing to write was for a mental health assessment. He was hostile and arrogant the entire appointment and acted as if I wasn’t worthy of his time. Fast forward two years and I am staring at a diagnosis of Multiple System Atrophy. This is a devastating neurological disease that will strip me of every function needed to sustain life I am 54 yrs old and I’m very angry that I let this horrible doctor rob me of an earlier diagnosis. Stay faraway from him, as his God complex is obvious.
