Dr. Evan Kushner, MD

Met with dr. Kushner based on all reviews and ratings. After bloodwork results his only professional advice was to 'eat a steak or two'. No other advice or options were given regarding my symptoms. . If you're having serious medical problems, he's not your guy.

Very down to earth easy to talk to

Dr. Kushner has been my husband's primary care physician for 3 years. Every visit has been worthwhile with this kind and knowledgeable professional! He is the "orchestra leader" for my husband's healthcare, collaborating with specialists as necessary. An example from one of my husband's earliest visits -- When asked what could be done to relieve a hacking cough, Dr. Kushner examined my husband, then reviewed his medications and explained that the symptoms are known as side effects for a third of patients taking a particular heart Rx. [Did you ever think of speaking with a cardiologist about what to do about a cough?] Dr. Kushner contacted my husband's cardiologist and respectfully recommended alternative Rx. That cough is gone! I am grateful to have this noble geriatrician in my husband and my life!

Dr. Kushner was been my GP since I had open heart surgery in November 1993. Excellent doctor. Has been working closely with my cardiology the last 25+ years to make you I remain healthy. He sincerely cares about his patients. I would recommend Dr. Kushner and Forest Healthcare to anyone.

I have been a patient f Dr. K. for three years. He is patient and listens to whatever I have to say. He returns my calls and answers any questions posed to him. I never feel rushed on my visits with him. He is a caring physician.

My 90 year old father presented to Dr. Kushner with congestion, muscle aches, dizziness and a 103 degree fever. Dr. K told my father it was an allergy and told him to take an antihistamine. Unbelievable! I took him to an urgent care facility where he was correctly diagnosed with the flu.

I did not have any serious problems or complaints and my first visit was perfunctory at best. But when I called him with a question about a test he recommended (at my suggestion), his response revealed his disinterest, and he did not offer an answer or offer to research the answer. Not exactly what I am looking for.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Kushner for around 30 years, even before he opened up the current office. His medical knowledge is top notch, and he has an excellent way of explaining things in a clinical yet not confusing way. We trust his judgement explicitly.

Dr. Kushners is one of the most attentive & caring doctors I've ever been treated by. He is involved in my overall health, communicates with all of my other physicians and my family. He is an incredible doctor & a wonderful person.
