I starting seeing Dr. Mokwe years ago. However, a year ago I had congestive heart failure and he saw me in the hospital and out. He is wonderful, explains things. and cares about his patients.

Once I was seen by Dr Mokwe when I was transferred from Del Rio Tx to San Antonio I would never change cardiologist again I give Dr Mokwe a 10 star if I could excellent cardiologist.

By far the most unprofessional healthcare provider I have ever been to in my life. Dr. Mokwe found that my EKG had some abnormalities, and never informed me of this. Instead he sent the results to my psychiatrist. My conditions were STILL unbeknownst to me at this time. About a month later, while at my psychiatry appointment, my PSYCHIATRIST started listing off the cardiac "conditions" that Dr. Mokwe informed them of. I wasn't aware that my EKG was abnormal and did not have any results given to me, or explained to me. I instantly started to have a full on panic attack because these conditions were unexpected, sounded alarming, and were never explained to me. My psychiatrist was equally bewildered as to why Dr. Mokwe did not inform me of the EKG results in addition to sending it to them. He never took accountability for the undue stress this caused me. Save yourself the unnecessary stress and avoid Dr. Mokwe and River City Cardiovascular.
