No way!
The doctor was rushed, said he had to get home to his wife and kids during the first visit. Second visit he said he was in a hurry and did not have time for any questions. He's incredibly arrogant and I will never see him again for any reason. Stay away. There are better doctors in the area.

Thyroid
I have been diagnosed with AFIB. In the past 50 years I’ve had an irregular heart beat associated with my thyroid. Dr D keeps dismissing me that my AFIB is thyroid related. None of the treatments he’s offered don’t address thyroid. So I’m not clear as to how an ablation or shock therapy or meds will help.

Very caring Doctor
Dr D is my husband ‘s cardiologist and he is amazing. Very caring and professional. Delayed his vacation to assist with complications with my husband’s procedure. Wish more Doctors were like him.

I highly recommend Dr. Diamantakos! He is attentive, thorough, listens to his patients, explains everything so that the average person can understand and makes you feel like you have a voice in your care and treatment. I wish all doctors were like Dr. D.!!!

I ended up in the ER a couple times within a week with SVT. Dr. Diamantakos was referred to do the procedure. He went over the full scope of my diagnosis, along with the procedure (ablation), and what can be done if I decide not to the procedure. I felt that he genuinely cared about my concerns and helped me make an informed decision. I went with the ablation. The team that assisted Dr. Diamantakos in my procedure were wonderful. I wish I could have remembered all of their names. I was extremely scared because I was to be awake for the procedure, but their kindness and gentleness helped to calm me. I felt no pain. Just a little discomfort at times. Dr. followed up with me the following AM to check my incisions and answer any more questions I may have. Then, Dr's office called me later in the day after discharge to set up my follow-up appointment. If you are considering an ablation, I highly recommend Dr. Diamantakos and his team.
