Dr. Evelyn Maningo, MD

I've read the negative reviews and cannot believe they could be talking about my doctor, Evelyn Maningo. From my first visit, she was caring, and genuinely concerned about my health problems. Several months ago I was having terrible pain in my side/stomach area. She told me it was my back. I was puzzled and questioned her, how could this be? She told me to use my hot tub, stretch my back out, and she would see me in 3 weeks. She was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! It was my back causing my side pain. She has become a trusted doctor and friend. We share many things in common, and I enjoy my visits with her.

Her profile here says she is a Cosmetic Medicine Specialist but she is working as a primary care physician, a general physician? After having her as my PCP for two years, I switched. She doesn't listen, rushes you out, talks down to you, has a gruff dismissive manner, and offers no well plan or solutions. I would not recommend.

Very caring doctor who makes you feel heard and supported.

horrific, she was a monster. I have never been spoken to the way she spoke to me. She judged me and didn't listen to anything I had to say. I left feeling hopeless. Do not go to her, she will crush your soul and smile while she does it.

Dr Maningo is a wonderful person. She has a heart of gold.

Doctor Maningo was very rude to me and had zero compassion. She seemed completely uninterested in my own thoughts and opinions about the care I needed. She interrupted me and cut off what I had to say and did not listen when I told her my antibiotic prescription needed to be changed to a higher dose. I did not get better so I had to go to Urgent Care. I will not be going back to this doctor again. Very displeased.

She always has a horrible non-caring attitude, will not have simple blood & urine tests associated with my condition ordered so I'm leaving!! My symptoms from my condition are horrible in the last year because she does not care to help me, talk or listen to me or explain anything. She doesn't encourage me to ask questions and if you do they are not answered. She certainly doesn't offer any information just rushes me out the door. Don't question how they bill insurance, they code how they want!

I really tried to give her a chance but after my fourth visit I had enough, she rushes you out the room, cares little about uour questions and converns and assumes alot, never again refuse to see her again. She also has a bit of an attitude when she doesn't have an answer,

My third visit to this "doctor" she rushes me into the exam room to quickly explain my routine test results are normal (they cold have mailed this to me and saved me a trip). She then leads me out to reception desk. I tell her I still have health questions, as she walks away she turns and says "Sorry I have a meeting to get to" away she goes. !!!! Not going to schedule a mammogram although I am high risk. My advice - find someone else. This place also keeps you coming back $$$

Makes me feel inferior yet I need to know more than her to get treatments, tests that I need. Does not explain anything or spend time with your questions or concerns. The waiting period is quite long no matter how slow they are. Attitude runs hot or cold, never know~ confrontational. Many mistakes by office staff.

Very thourough. Cares about patient and a high standard of care. Highly recommend.
