Diagnosed severe bipolar disorder with a 20 minute questionnaire over the phone. Really feels like he is pushing pills very heavily, if I was prescribed two different types after said phone conversation. Not recommended.

I called to make an appointment, gave them all my info( insurance, meds I'm on, phone number etc.) They said they would give me a call back with an appointment date and I never heard back from them again!!

Treated me like I was some dopehead looking for pulls when all I want to do is control my adhd... made me get and rig and then after I made 3 different trips to his office each time for new information he asked for .... each trip being about 20 mins from home and an hour from work I have up.... he would not even come out and speak to me would just tell the receptionist what he wanted me to do something they could have done over the phone.... never listened to me ...

He is a good doctor. He listens, you will feel he cares, returns your calls, answer your questions, give you a sincere advice. He is very aware of medications to help and medications to avoid. I highly recommend him.

I had been going to Dr. Ashamalla for the past 2 years at OBH. I consider him an excellent and compassionate doctor. I am sad that he is no longer with them! I am considering the 45 + min. drive that it will take me to continue with him at his new location. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ashamalla to anyone who needed a psychiatric doctor.

I've seen Dr. Ashamalla for a few months, since he has been with OBH. I have been through a number of psychiatrists with that practice, and I found him to be excellent. I was sad to hear he is leaving the OBH practice to open his own, but I wish him well.

Rude, horrible, kept insisting on putting me on a medication that is in the same family of medications that caused me horrible side effects. I went there to be treated for ADHD and anxiety and this idiot doctor insisted on prescribing something completely different.
DO NOT GO, HORRIBLE, RUDE, DOES NOT CARE. STAY AWAY!
