Selecting the right psychiatrist . . .
Telehealth
Selecting the right psychiatrist is a highly personal and important decision. Before finding Dr. Moghal, I worked with two doctors; they were both experienced and competent but lacked compassion and kindness. To me, that is what sets Dr. Moghal apart from the other two physicians and makes him special.

Dr. Moghal - Empathy, Compassion, Kindness
Telehealth
For over twelve years, Dr. Faheem Nawaz Moghal has provided me with behavioral health support. I highly recommend him. He is an experienced psychiatrist, well-respected in his field, and possesses important qualities like empathy, compassion, and kindness. Dr. Moghal is professional and courteous during our sessions. He answers questions in a thoughtful and insightful manner and clearly explains symptoms, prescriptions, and side effects. He also takes session notes and refers to them during our appointments, which I appreciate. Moreover, he is flexible in scheduling appointments, particularly if you require an emergency session. In terms of trust, I am grateful to be in his continued care and believe that my mental health and well-being has benefited greatly.

Best Psychiatrist That Understands the Struggle
I'm so grateful for Dr. Moghal. Been seeing him as my psychiatrist for the past 5 years. Even when I switched to different health insurance providers he would always send a prescription refill to my pharmacy. Besides prescription refills, he was kind to complete a Total and Permanent Disability form offered through the Department of Education. His kindness to vouch for me that my Bipolar/Schizophrenia Disorder is a severe chronic brain disease. With him kindly signing off on this disability form - the Department of Education waived $180,000 of student loan debt based on meeting the qualifications for their Total and Permanent Disability form/program. Definitely, build a relationship with Dr. Moghal first and keep yourself busy by pursing your educational dreams with student loans from Department of Education (any of their servicers will do). Then, graduate from college and then ask Dr. Moghal to complete a disability waiver form for you to have your student loans discharged/paid off.

He looked up something on google in front of me
Telehealth
I totally understand the doctors don’t know everything. However, when you don’t know something instead of looking up something on google in front of your patient just say you don’t know and that you will get back to you. He also is not a problem solver and felt that I was doing most of my own work. He lacks empathy and listening skills. I know there is a shortage of psychiatrists at Kaiser but come on, do better.

After meeting me for three 15-minute visits, this so-called doctor decided he knew me well enough to determine whether I was having a manic episode without speaking directly with me at all. Perhaps he should try his hand at being a psychic. I have never given him any reason to think that I'd be unable to determine my state of mind on my own. However, when I sent him a few angry messages due to his refusal to answer a question about a prescription, Moghal decided to call the police. He claimed I was speaking a mile a minute and that I was a danger to myself because I did not answer his 9 calls in a 4 minute window. I had not spoken with him whatsoever that day, and this man knew next to nothing about me. It was almost as if he was punishing me for being rude by threatening my life with police presence. DO NOT see this doctor.
