Dr. Liu didn't listen to my concerns and just tried to prescribe me medication. When I asked her about potential alternatives, she berated me for not being enthusiastic enough about the medications that she was trying to push. I had been using these medications for years, with no improvement. She simply lacks empathy and this is not the right profession for her. After this appointment, she sent me a letter saying that she could no longer serve me, and I was thankfully given another far more caring physician who listened to my concerns, put me on a new treatment regimen (not the original meds that Dr. Liu tried to push), and now I am doing better than ever.

Meeting with Dr. Liu was short and very superficial. She didn't examine me nor did she look at the photos of my skin condition. She was ignorant as per the medications I was taking, wouldn't prescribe nor recommend any ointments and didn't order any tests. Now I need to find another dermatologist who is capable of finding the cause for my skin condition. A total waste of time.

Dr Liu is an excellent physician! Having some medical conditions along with skin cancer, i was quite nervous for my first appointment with Dr Liu. But she put me at ease right away, explained everything to me about my diagnosis, and worked with me to make a treatment plan that i felt comfortable with. She has a very kind, empathetic, and cheerful demeanor which makes her an excellent doctor...i highly recommend her!
