Dr. Farah Toyserkani, MD

The doctor was fine. She seemed really nice. The staff though, not so much. Her medical assistant, was negligent and was intolerant of my disability. Her schedule staff was not tolerant when I asked to say again the date of the next appointment.

I had severe back pain for 2 years and every doctor I went to prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxers. Thinking I had a gastro issue I made an appointment with Dr. Toyserkani. She ordered a CAT scan with contrast. She was the only doctor who ordered a scan with contrast that showed a tumor wrapped around my spine, pressing on my spinal cord. She called me at home that evening and instructed me to get to the emergency room immediately. They operated on me immediately and discovered that I had a cancerous tumor putting so much pressure on my spinal cord that a few millimeters more and I would be paralyzed from the waist down. After many radiation treatments and chemotherapy, I now have been in remission for years. I trust her expertise and her diagnostic methods more than any other doctor I have ever had. I am thankful every day that I made that appointment with her years ago.

I have been Dr Toyserkani’s patient for a few years now. I have always felt I was in good hands under her care. She is very busy and there is some wait time at her office but I feel like I get her full attention when I’m at my appt.
