Dr. Farhad Montazeri has a feature, which despite being advertised by every physician, does not materialize a lot of time, based on personal experience. He cared about my depression and anxiety. He wanted to treat, not bill, although he billed, too. He remained persistently focused on my conditions and he found the right medications I do suggest him, if you are suffering a psychiatric condition. Only note that based on my communication with him, if you are after 'stuff' he is not the right one. I was not although I felt I need one. I let him do his job and once he made sure other meds could not fix it, he prescribed me a controlled substance Let me be honest. I know people who are after Adderall/Xanax/... to enjoy pot, paid by disability income, and they look quite happy to me, on disability for depression I know they keep being visited, and gifted smiles and scripts in return for the visit fee paid by the insurance. In the rare event of Googling 'Adderall Doc Connecticut' Google is pretty good but not perfect. Someone else in the search result must be the match.

Dr. Montazeri accepts new patients with medicaid/medicare, which is a big plus, and another star, compared to other psychiatrists in the area, almost none do so, seeminly because medicaid pays them less. Not only that, he is available in a couple of weeks for initial and follow up visits, and offers televisits, the fourth star. But most importantly he knows his job. He cured a hellish mental condition, anxiety and panic attacks, which made me almost totally dysfunctional for years in only 4 months. I am now functional again and have a life. I am living a life again and not just alive, which in and off itself, earns him 5 stars and makes me wonder why I spent so many years, in misery, going from one primary care provider to another, mostly nurse practitioners, refilling and billing, and didn't go straight to a psychiatrist. Maybe it was the cost, inavailability for months or simply me failing to acknowledge the severity of problem and thinking it is incurable. Whatever it was I highly recommend you not go through the ordeal I went through and I definitely recommend him. Don't make my mistakes, looking for providers who pleases but know how to fix.

Absolutely the worst doctor I've ever seen
Dr. Montazeri-Lemraski told me I was a severe case and prescribed a new med on top of the psych meds I'm already on, which he also increased. I was due to follow up after a month.I wasn't too crazy about the new meds, and started having really bad side effects. Dr. Montazeri-Lemraski had told me that, sometimes, psych meds can have the opposite effect from what is intended, and that if that happened, I should stop taking them. Accordingly, I stopped taking the new med. At my follow-up, he asked how the new meds were going. I told him not well at all, explained what happened and that I stopped taking them. He then became weirdly angry, ranted about how he can't help me because I'm 'too severe' a case and won't follow instructions anyway, and insisted that those meds could not have led to that reaction. He recommended I find a therapist, and then literally threw me out 10 min into the appointment. Horrible.

I have had several visits to Dr. Montazeri office. He lets me explain the issues that my ADD causes for me and uses both medication therapy and psychotherapy, which have been quite effective on me. He is kind and empathetic and I sure recommend him.
